Jan 9, 2026 at 2:22 PM We need music. When is the street fighter movie? 50 & em have songs on the soundtrack
Jan 9, 2026 at 5:37 PM I wonder who actually played that piano intro. We know Elizondo and Tommy Coster both did keyboards on Way I Am. Not sure who actually replayed back Eminems Walkman recording melody for him tho, I’d say probably Elizondo. Although ive even seen Eminem say in an interview (or somewhere) that it was Jeff Bass he got to play the melody back to him.
Jan 9, 2026 at 5:38 PM Like My s--- is about Game. Let me break it down for you midgets b----, you got one television (one set), and the one that you have is cheap (have is cheap) It's like when they test your blood (test your blood), that s--- is a plasma screen (a plasma screen) My house is like Alfred E. Neuman (Alfred E. Neuman), b----, I got mad TVs (mad TVs) I got a whole lotta issues (whole lotta issues, prr) in that magazine (prr) Turn the thermostat all the way up's only way you're gonna blast the heat (blast the heat) All you leisure-wear like V-necks, all y'all just casual tees (casualties) Critics, I don't rap to please (rap to please), they be like that brand of greens (brand of greens) Label 'em Del Monte (Monte) 'cause everyone you can't appease, yeah (can't appease, haha) Now you’re probably going like “Em, How is this about game?” we’ll pay attention. I wrote this so it goes over your head. One Set=Blood g--- affiliated. Blood/ Plasma duh, but also He only has 1 cheap TV to play on. Thats a video game bar. My house has Mad/Many TV’s like the mascot of the Sketch Comedy Show in the mid 90’s MADTV. Which was like SNL but for Millennials/Gen Xers. Then I went from Mad to a lot of Issues, but also Mad tv use to have magazines and in 2001 Eminem was the cover. Obviously Magazines hold ammo. But look at the 2001 cover again. Coincidence? No because on that very magazine was a story about A-Rod, the famous Baseball Star who hit his 200th Home run that summer. Another Game reference. So in those 2 lines we already got Video Game and Baseball, 2 sports. Now let’s deep dive deeper. The blast heat like a thermostat is obviously about shooting a heater/Glock. All you leisure wear/Expensive clothing = V-Neck shirts aka Casual T-s----s. Casualties, being you’ll end up a statistic. That’s obvious right. but the insult is Game isn’t hot, because he needs to turn up the heat. And finally the Del Monte Beans bar is way more entrenched in actual LA g--- politics. Del monte California crips in LA alone has a hundred diffrent labels since there isn’t actual one set, there are a thousand different sets under the crip umbrella. That’s why you can’t label them. Like critics, you can’t appease all of them. Basically this whole verse is about how cheap and pointless Game’s affiliations are because he isn’t even relevant in his own city as a thousand different rival gangsters are in that city alone.lime Beans, Lime street Compton is where the biggest studio blood is from.. YG. It’s all connected. That’s rosecrans Where Kendrick and Game were just midgets when MMLP came out
Jan 9, 2026 at 5:41 PM @Big Monkey i don’t have my equipment set up atm, can you try something for me. I want to see how the Lose Yourself piano intro sounded as Jeff Bass originally played it before Steve King moved it up a key. The album version is in the key of D. If you could try and find a way within whatever software you use to drop it down to the key of C, I’d like to hear it. Obviously without altering the BPM (unless it was actually sped up by King when he moved it up)
Jan 9, 2026 at 9:58 PM You should rewatch the Eminem Chrysler commercial which uses the song Lose Yourself. They went back to the original recording to make that version of the song and you can hear that guitar loop possibly in it's earliest stage before any effects were added or layers were added
