Nov 30, 2025 at 3:45 AM Some of the songs you remove all or most verses so why not just remove the song? Do you actually know if 3 am with microphone verses and similar ideas you wrote there work?
Nov 30, 2025 at 4:34 AM Well also it just sounds so unique. You can take or leave the lyrics, because a lot of them are forced and juvenille, but, because the aesthetic is so... unique; abstract and weird, it exists in its own universe and so it doesn't matter, it's just insanely catchy to me, and so musical. Like, just even forget what he's saying, but how he's saying it is compelling.
Nov 30, 2025 at 4:42 AM The two best, most haunting beats from Relapse were completely ruined by a s-----y accent-driven “haha look guys I’m a serial killer” Eminem. So much potential ruined, you’d think someone like Dre could have at least told him this s--- is horrible, do something different over these great beats I’m making. Songs like Medicine Ball, Crack a Bottle, Must Be The Ganja, Bagpipes from Baghdad the whole of Refill are just terrible. The concept and tone of Relapse pretty much runs dry after listening to one song. Underground makes me completely cringe. If anyone remembers, one of the first snippets to ever leak way before Relapse was released was the first chorus to Stay Wide Awake. That little snippet sounded amazing and sounded like it had so much potential. Shame what we got in the end was an almost unlistenable 4/10 album
