Luckily I have little respect for what the artist in question intended and trust my own judgment better, so I can enjoy my own custom Relapse playlist as if it was an official album. It's been a while though and esp since the January leaks it could use some tweaking and rearranging or maybe be split into two separate albums, but in the proper mood I think I could still really get into a Relapse album(s) with these songs (listed here in random order): Spoiler Back & Forth h--- Breaks Loose Deja Vu Chemical WArfare Hello Evil, Rise (3 a.m. with the Microphone freestyle verses and the Silence of the Lambs bridge replacing the original hook) Elevator (verses 2 & 3 can be a chore to listen to and should be replaced) Medicine Ball (all 3 verses need to be replaced, except for the Christopher Reeve bit) Must Be the Ganja Key to My Room Love Drunk Music Box My Mom Sexual Healing My Darling (pre-Relapse but I don't care. Fits better than mopey Beautiful) Psycho I'm Having a Relapse Sociopath The Warning Things Get Worse Underground (with the 2010 Tim Westwood freestyle verses and the Drop the Bomb hook?) This cartoony self-parody version of Slim Shady I find extremely entertaining. The most uncharitable critics of the Relapse era on SL, an older incarnation of this forum, wrote their unforgiving reviews under the assumption that Eminem had zero self-awareness during this phase and that he still thought of himself as the edgy "hazardous youth" of the late 1990s and early 2000s. As I've speculated before I see things differently. The Middle Eastern accent -- which is actually a mutation of the Blaccent -- stems from a deep insecurity about being a culture-appropriating wigger in his mid to late 30s, an insecurity I suspect he was quite conscious of. The accent was a kind of compromise he had to make at the time in order to rap with confidence again (yes I know he claims he didn't realize he was rapping in accents, but I call BS). Understanding this and accordingly not taking Relapse too seriously and autistically comparing it to his prime, I can appreciate it as a kind of fascinating museum piece.
