    Born Halfway - @DiggleDogg69

Vaudeville Villain - this is so raw lol. Love the rock/rap combination. Doom ofc kills it
Rainbow Colors - I had to get used to the hook with the deep voice lol. But the beat is so dope and once the verses start I'm totally in
Still Tippin - 3rd song I never heard before in a row lmao. Another rap tape! I do hate when they use samples repeating the same line as hooks though, a bit lazy. Verses though >
    Air Force Ones - a zero's classic!
Put On - yeah @diggledog still need to know ur opinion on the classic Jigga verse! That one's so good but so is Kanye's. Here ya go, both of them:

Get Your Roll On - reminds me of a Nelly song, this slapsss in the car and at parties
Down for My Niggaz - can't really say much other than another b-----r
Hustler Muzik - people who say Wayne is a trash rapper need to listen to songs like this. Sure dude kinda sold out and f----- up his voice but his earlier stuff (and some of his more recent) is f---ing great. A top 3 Weezy song for me
I'm Robbin - lmao the artwork makes the dude look like a f--, but the song slaps. Another one I never heard before, nice!
I Am.. All of Me - woow lmaooo. Did not see this coming. All of a sudden a break from rap, had to turn down the volume a little. Good song though, but not really my thing. Hook I do like a lot!
Best of You - sticking with Rock, this one I like more. Added to my favorites playlist!
Still Into You - you can't go wrong with Paramore.
Modern Day Delilah - h--- yeah. One of my fav Kiss songs and there aren't that many
It's Been Awhile - good song, but not something I'd go back to a lot. Dude's voice is amazing ngl
What Goes Around - yeah another zero's classic. Heard this sooo many times. He has hits and (mostly) misses nowadays but this JT was great
VCR - yeah Tyler's style really isn't my thing. This song is fine, his rapping is fine but the hook and when he switches up his voice not my thing

Man, half of the songs I never heard and I liked almost all of them. And some zero's classics in between I kinda forgot. This was a great ride! 8.7/10

I based the years the tracks released off of what Spotify said although I’ve found that Spotify is sometimes wrong about the release years of older tracks but oh well we’ll go with it. I tried to represent each year from 2000 - 2010 but I ended up not having songs from 2001, 2002, or 2009 but that’s not a huge deal. Get ready to feel empowered, shake ya a---, bust a nut, cry, and reflect on life (although not always necessarily in that order) @AOTWClub

“‘Disk Read Error’ sounds like it could be the sequel to "Burn After Downloading’”. Looking forward to this.

Lmao true. This is the best era to do stuff with discs too because CDs really fell off after this. Although I actually bought some CDs last year because it’s nice to have albums you really like physically

    Disc Read Error Review:

The mixtape kicks off with two tracks that feel almost tailor made for me, one from an all time favorite game, the other from an all time favorite album.

After that, it’s packed with bangers. I knew about 90% of the playlist but all of them are good picks. Out of these hits, Promiscuous is one of the best. The Way I Are still slaps and “Whatever You Like” still goes too.

Honestly, there’s little to complain about. The only minor downside is that it leans heavily on the big radio hits from back in the day, but I still enjoy most of them. If I ever ran into a broccoli head raised on AI music, like my nephew someday, I’d probably play a few of these tracks to show what the 2000s sounded like. I’m also a fan of the PS2 style cover art for the tape.

Back to back reviews for the Ripper Tape! I was pretty hyped to get into this. Presentation-wise, I thought that the title + cover were really cool, and the song selection seemed pretty intriguing so I couldn't wait to hop in

I think that this tape's biggest strength is it's variety. You have songs from the Halo 3 soundtrack, Mystikal, Madonna, Big Time Rush, etc. In a lot of ways, this tape feels like you've bought a used game console from the 2000's that has the old owner's music library saved onto the hard drive, and I mean that in the best way possible. I absolutely dug the pop hits like "1 Thing", "Toxic", and "Promiscuous", and the Linkin Park and BTR songs were some of my favorites as well (the transition from OFE to "Faint" was dope!!)."Shake Ya a---" always takes me back to the GTA 4 strip club lmao. I especially loved the outro track, it was a great closer. There were a few songs that I wasn't too into ("The Way I Are" and "Move Along" were my least favorites), but I didn't outright dislike any of the songs or anything. This was a pretty good time, and big thanks to @Ripper Roo for the tape!!!

    BORN HALFWAY

MF DOOM is still a pretty big blindspot for me in general but I really enjoy everything I've heard, Vaudeville Villain is no different. Great opener.

Three 6 Mafia and more southern rap in general is hit or miss for me, I really didn't like the song at first but it grew on me. Still not one of my favorites of the tape but I don't dislike it.

Still Tippin is a classic, one of the most memorable beats of all time and the verses are fun, just a generational song.

Air Force Ones is so fun man, I always loved that song. Nelly had some hitters but this is definitely one of if not my favorite from him.

I actually got familiar with put on cause it was on the Skate 3 soundtrack and I'd get hype whenever it played in-game lmaoo. Adore this song, the hoot is great, Jeezys verses are dope and this is when Kanye was good.

Not too familiar with Big Tymers but Get Your Roll On was pretty fun, for this subgenre it's the kind of sound I like out of it. Definitely gonna listen to this one more!

Down For My Ni**az was alright, it took me a second to warm up to it but I really liked Snoops part. Can definitely see myself warming up to this one even more.

Hustler Musik is great, modern Wayne still produces some great verses but not too many great full songs like this one. It's also nice to hear when his voice wasn't completely f----- lmao

Similar thoughts to Get Your Roll On with I'm Robbin but even more positive. Good song and I saved it pretty immediately!

Listen......I'm not even the Sonic kind of autistic (at least not anymore) but the soundtracks to these games rip so hard for no g.d. reason and I Am... All Of Me is an absolute classic. Crush 40 are forever the goats

Out of their hits Best Of You is my favorite Foo Fighters song, it's basically everything great about the band in one song. Good writing, emotional, performances from Dave and the band are all immaculate. Still one of the last bastions of more classic rock music. Great song.

Still Into You isn't even my go to Paramore track but everytime I hear it I forgot how hard it bangs, same thing with the Self Titled album as a whole tbh. Great song from a great album (still waiting for school to not beat your a--- so I can relisten to their discog with you big diggledogg)

Modern Day Delilah is a great Kiss pick, love this one. A lot of people think they're overrated but there's merit in their simplicity as a band and I'll always love em

I know Staind can get clowned on but It's Been Awhile is a song I f---ing love, gets stuck in my head on the time and while a but melodramatic i like the writing. I'm a big staple of rock for divorced dads and this is a staple in that sound.

What Goes Around is awesome, back when JT was killing it, makes a 7min song go by super quick. Another classic for sure, I miss this kind of production so much I'm happy to see it's making a bit of a comeback on some projects.

VCR was fun, I hopped on the Tyler train late so I'm not intimately familiar with his edgier Odd Future days but it's always cool. Aged poorly for a lot of people but I think seeing the progression is really cool and they're still well constructed and written songs. Fun closer.

All in all this tape was somehow both focused and all over the place which I love about these. A lot of songs I haven't heard mixed with songs I've loved for years now and am always happy to revisit. Thanks for the Playlist @DiggleDogg69!

Favorite Songs: Vaudeville Villain, Still Tippin, Air Force Ones, Put On, I Am... All Of Me, Best Of You, Still Into You, Modern Day Delilah, It's Been Awhile, What Goes Around
