Englund just got interviewed on a Youtube channel called Jakes Takes and he himself said that 2 is the best :emoji_no_good:(We need a male version of this btw) a lot of the fanbase agree... 2 is only looked down on by some because of the h---------- director lol. if you look people nkw say that 2 is the 2nd best movie which it is lol.
It has the better scarier scenes... bus, pool etc

They ahould let Englund create a script for a new movie (have thought this for a long time now)

Freddy vs Jason is mediocre it fits in well with a lot of bad horrors around that era i.e chucky and his b----, Halloween and TCM.

I thought 2 was decent but not great from what I remember. There was a lot of cool stuff in it though for sure. However, I’ve only watched each ANOES movie once. I’m definitely due for a rewatch, my opinions could change. Rewatching the Friday the 13th series has been eye opening. Although to be fair I wasn’t really paying much attention the first time I watched that series, it was just kinda on in the background if you know what I mean…

2 is definitely not as bad as the ones that followed and I enjoyed it. But not as much as 1, 3 and 7.

But yeah Englund needs to be involved!

Sure fvsj is corny but I can like dream it as many times as I seen it. Still love the concept! And the movie

    The Exorcist

Nothing else to say that hasn't been said by almost everyone. Still imo the best exorcism movie especially given the time it was made.
    10/10

Gonna skip 2 this year and watch 3 again this afternoon. Believer can also wait a year

Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter - 8/10

Another iconic, classic movie with iconic, classic moments. Another definitive movie. This and part 3 gotta be the 2 most important movies in the franchise. I don’t think it gets much better than this when it comes to this series. After this I think the movies can get a bit questionable.

Rob screaming, “HE’S KILLING ME!!” as Jason was killing him was hilarious, and I’m glad they put that in the game. And when he yeeted one of the twins out the window it was also pretty funny. Jimbo’s dancing was f---ing crazy lmao. I think this is the first movie where Jason kills a lesbian and an absolute gooner (Axel).

    Exorcist III

It's obvious (and also confirmed later on) that the movie balances between being an actual sequel, and a more standalone story. Adding in a -very random- exorcism just because of the title, bringing back Karras.. al moves they made for the name.

Despite all that, what I like is that it really has the same vibe of the OG even if it's not that scary or actually about possession most of the time. It's more psychological. A bit slow at times but enough tension and creepy enough to keep me interested. The eventual connection, the aftermath, of the original movie might be a bit far fetched, but I liked it a lot. Also having both Brad and Jason in it >>>

As the only person in the world that doesn't hate The Heretic, this is definitely a better (and imo best) sequel out of all remakes / prequels etc they did. 7.7/10

    Scream

It really is classics day. From the amazing opening k---, great characters and some really good fight/chase scenes, this is a slasher done right. Nothing else to say 10/10

    Scream 3

This is more interesting since a lot of people say it's the worst. I disagree. They ignored this movie (to an extent) later on, but I saw somewhere in S4 Jill was supposed to mention Roman, how he adored him. But they eventually cut the scene because they wanted S4 to start a new story without too much family from the past. Billy and Stu are the only killers being mentioned in every sequel which I can get. Still think its strange they left the brother part but w him returning in 7 it will be properly adressed.

The actual movie; I think it's far from the worst. It may be a bit too complicated, but it was a nice backstory and twist imo. The Hollywood setting and self awareness was great. The fight scene at the end was one of the best. So was Cottons opening scene.
Scream 4 didn't bring anything new to the table... just some cool s--- like the filming. Scream 2 also was just a rehash of part 1 mostly. Scream 6 same story. And don't get me wrong I like all 3 of those and the movies were enjoyable as f---.
But the storyline of 3, it actually is my 3rd favorite movie behind 1 and 5.

    8.7/10

What a movie The Exorcist is, it's definitely a top 5 horror oat.... I never really rated 2 or 3 though in truth i found them slightly boring..

Tbh I don’t think I've seen all of the Friday movies bro i need to check them.. I think I've watched the first 3 and the reboot. I preferred the first 2, 1 and 2 are certified classics!

Word! Yeah 2 and 3 are so different and I totally get the hate for 2 but I just don't hate it at all (some lame s--- though). 3 is great!

I watched F13 part 2 last year for the first time. Liked it a lot more than 1 tbh.

Other than those I only seen Jason X (lol), part 6 (which I love and will watch this week) and Freddy vs Jason.

Still have to see the rest of them

Parts 1-4 are definitely the classics of the franchise. The reboot is good too from what I remember. If you didn’t wanna watch the whole series those are the main ones I’d recommend. All the other F13 movies from what I remember are mostly iffy or straight up bad like Jason Goes To h---. Although I have a soft spot for parts 7 and 8 because I like Jason’s costumes in those plus it’s cool when he goes to Manhattan in part 8. I’m still in the process of rewatching them though so my opinions might change on these later films

Lmaooo FT13 has 12 movies and I'd say only 4 of them are good lol

I've always had a hatred for Jason for some reason and idk why lol

The dumbest thing to me is when people say 'man f13 is such a gr8 movie, Jason is awesome!' when he isn't even in that movie lmaoo.
    I do like Jason though.

I forgot about the remake with 'Sam'. That one was cool and the best of thr 3 remakes (halloween, elms, f13). It has Jason right away. Only thing I really missed was the 'summercamp' vibe since they were just in a house in the woods/lake. But still it was solid!

Before watching the rest of the scream movies, gonna start breakfast with the clash of the titans

    Freddy vs Jason

This is the first slasher I've seen when I was a teenager. So it holds a special place for sure.
Aside from that, I still think it's overhated by some.

Freddy sure has some lame jokes/goofy stuff but it's more sadistic humour compared to the circus s--- he did in the later Elmst. movies. I like him here. Jason is as awesome and brutal as ever.

It started out as an Elmstreet movie in the same house, and it ended at Camp Crystal Lake. The concept of using Jason to spread fear... also great. And ofcourse the fun fights!

To me, this is a great slasher and a very cool way to combine the 2 worlds. 7.5/10

I would have loved to have seen the very first scripts they had for this movie when Kruger wasn't comical.... bet it was legendary.

Really? Didn't know that it was different at first.
I like the mix between scary and humour but the later elms ones he just wasn't scary anymore.

Yeah man FvJ was planned in the 80's but they couldn't make it for some reason... kept being pushed back.
