Oct 22, 2025 at 7:33 AM Friday the 13th (1980) - 6/10 The movie is pretty simple, there’s not a lot of location changes or a ton of things that happen. Most of the acting isn’t great (although Mama Voorhees did good). The film makes up for that with its atmosphere. This is really a world that you can get immersed in and lost in. It has personality. The score is incredible and helps build the atmosphere even more. The first person shots from the killer’s perspective and the killer being a mystery until the end are really cool aspects of Friday the 13th. The twist of who the killer was must’ve been dope back then. I guess I should mention I watched the Uncut version although I’ve heard there’s barely any difference. I appreciate the use of practical effects. Even if they don’t always look great there’s a charm to them, and they probably looked better when you couldn’t see it in high res. When I saw this movie years ago I thought it was bad, but really it’s above average to me now. It’s not necessarily good, but there’s still enjoyment to be felt with this movie and enough potential here to warrant the sequels that were made. It’s okay for movies at this rating to exist because they can be launch pads for something better.
Oct 23, 2025 at 5:21 PM Final Destination: Bloodlines Finally watched this! As a fan of the franchise (except that awful, also ignored) 4th part I was curious if they found a way to keep it fresh and not recycle the same stuff. And man they did not dissappoint! Instead of random strangers the family made me care a lot more for the characters since the deaths actually s----d for the others.. in the other movies it wad mostly because they knew they were next. That s--- didn't happen here. Also Spoiler the opening not being the premonition and the event actually being prevented instead of some people saved was a nice surprise/twist. The 'bloodline' stuff was great and in line w the previous movies yet a fresh take. The ending it was kinda obvious something went wrong. Having her saved the exact same way as Kimberly would have been to easy.. was kinda sad she eventually died, liked her a lot, but a cool ending Also there were a lot of connections to FD2, a lot more than the other movies. I love that they confirmed that, other than that alternate ending of 3 suggested, Kimberly really survived and cheated death succesfully. Kinda wished they brought her back for a cameo but I'm sure AJ Cook is way too busy with Criminal minds. Last but not least: Tony Todd's scene... knowing his last words were not scripted but he spoke form the heart... jezus christ it was sad and beautiful at the same time. You have to see it to understand, won't spoil.. but what a last scene for him d---. Some dope death scenes, a great (best) story, yeah this was such a breath of fresh air. Along w Weapons my favorite of 2025. Giving this a 8.5/10
Oct 23, 2025 at 5:46 PM Friday the 13th Part 2 - 7/10 It’s similar to the first film but is a bit better. It’s a good continuation. We finally get to see adult Jason. The counselors and the final girl are more entertaining this time. The acting feels a bit more believable than the first part’s acting felt. The movie also feels less closed off, featuring more locations. The only thing that truly feels worse to me is that the practical effects during kills aren’t as impressive as the first movie and are pretty basic actually.
Oct 24, 2025 at 6:59 AM Annabelle 2 An anual viewing, imo along w Conjuring 2 the best of the 'universe'. Scary, hardly any time to calm down and great characters, especially the kid playing Janice did very well. Dope prequel and love how they used the last 5 minutes to really connect it to the story. 8,7/10 Okay now lets see what Bring Her Back is all about
Oct 24, 2025 at 8:30 AM Friday the 13th Part 3 - 8/10 This is when the series gets good. Jason finally gets his hockey mask and machete. I saw on Google that the review scores went down massively for this one. That’s crazy to me. It’s a great, classic movie. This has to be one of the definitive Friday the 13th films. There’s so many iconic moments and kills. Andy doing a handstand while getting killed by Jason was hilarious. I was thoroughly entertained throughout. I don’t have much to complain about.
Oct 24, 2025 at 9:43 AM Bring Her Back So the best way to describe this is probably... f----- up lol. It has a lot: a solid backstory, weird but good characters and some genuine creepy moments. Still, aside from the motive I kinda hate that we didn't get more explanation about the Spoiler ritual and what the f--- that 'angel' inside the boy was . Still, it's a solid and unique horror movie, props. Is it my favorite of 2025? Nah. Combining the praise and my personal enjoyment of the movie, 7.5/10
Oct 24, 2025 at 1:13 PM A Nightmare On Elmstreet Not being able to sleep safely.. the thought alone is terrifying. Maybe even scarier than Freddy himself. But Robert does a great job, the story is great and Heather is a franchise legend. Even if this is not even my favorite Nightmare movie, this one started it all and is a classic! 9/10
Oct 24, 2025 at 2:12 PM Which is the best freddy out of all the movies in ur guys opinion? Id say 2 by far... his whole image is goat, face, knives coming out of fingers, evil, no corny comedy.... he beats all freddies imo.
Oct 24, 2025 at 4:13 PM NewNightmare and not even close for me 1/2 close second Rest, especially 5 and 6 he's a clown
Oct 24, 2025 at 4:51 PM 1, 3, and New Nightmare are the ANOES movies I’d recommend people to watch, those are the good ones. MAYBE 2 as well. All the other ones s---. 1 is the best to me but New Nightmare gave it some real competition
