Oct 17, 2025 at 4:04 AM Aight; Sinners I'm happy someone (I think it was @jankland ) told me not to expect a traditional horror movie. Because yeah it has 2 hours and 10 minutes runtime and like 20 or maybe 30 minutes has actual horror in it. So I get that people were let down by that. However, I thought the movie was great. Love the music, the story, characters. I also thought it was clever they used the slave/plantation era as an 'excuse' for the creatures to make their group bigger ('everyone is equal with us'). I enjoyed almost every moment of this movie even if it was kinda slow at times, especially the first hour. Also loved the ending, post credits scene. One thing I missed is a little more backgroundstory on how the creatures got here / why. They gave some hints but I wanted a bit more. All this said, given the movies length this is probably a one time view for me. Btw Hailee Steinfeld was great in here. Same as the woman playing that singer girl. 8/10 gr8 movie!
Oct 17, 2025 at 4:08 AM You gotta tell him to stop dming me bruh. This Mfer has sent me over 20 dms saying weird s--- like Freddy got fingered lmao
Oct 17, 2025 at 4:10 AM Fear Street: Prom Queen My only 'issue' with this movie is it being a part of the FS franchise. I get, it's a book they made a movie out of. Maybe I forgot, but I don't remember the OG movies mention a prom night massacre? Also, other than 'shadyside sucks' there are no actual links to the main storyline. I absolutely love the original trilogy because it's telling a complete story of the curse and events over the years. This movie is just one night, mostly unrelated. Basically this is another version of Prom Night with the FS label slapped onto it lol. I mostly enjoyed it for what it was; a teen slasher with some fun kills and average story. But it really didn't need to be part of the FS franchise. 6/10
Oct 17, 2025 at 8:11 AM Mike didn’t k--- those f--s because they were f--s, he killed them cause they were at his place
Oct 17, 2025 at 8:21 AM Yeah a good lead can't save a movie from being too weird and pretentious at least not for me. Us also had a great lead, but jezus it went to s--- after the opening and first part
Oct 17, 2025 at 8:29 AM After 2 modern, went back in time and watch a Stephen King one (first time): Sleepwalkers So yeah not every SK story is a win as a horrormovie. Children of the Corn was also a great story but the movie was so corny -not even intended lol- It was great, Pet Semetary, Shining for example. Sleepwalkers, involving cat-like shapeshifters is an interesting idea. They used it in series like Supernatural. But man a son and mother that f--- eachother everyday, even if the mom is kinda hot, is sick lol. The story itself is lame imo.. so they have to catch a virgin and feed on her energy. But instead of just grabbing one they have to go out etc. All kinda strange. Some fun scenes here and there but yeah this is not it. Cast was great though. 4/10
Oct 17, 2025 at 3:25 PM Happy Death Day A clever take on Groundhog Day (also an idea they used in Supernatural years before) and imo one of the best modern slashers. It sure has some high school corny stuff but it's mostly about the killer, full of action and overall just very well done. Big props to Jessica Roth... playing a teenager at the age of 30! Such a shame @Marsh always mentions random teenagers as 'scream queens' when she does an amazing job being one. Part 3 is also in the making, I hope after the geeky part 2 it goes back to horror/thriller! 8/10
Oct 17, 2025 at 4:16 PM Random lol Sophie Thatcher is 2/2 this year. HDD is cool but the sequel s----d
Oct 17, 2025 at 6:39 PM Yooo this is a Stephen King classic man. It's been a loooong time since I watched it but I remember the son could make the car disappear and the movie has a scene out running the Police lol
