Aug 4, 2025 at 5:28 PM Zero. We can already get the acapella of any song in practically official quality using top separators, eg: So acapellas would be worthless filler. And so would live shows (wtf?). Hoping for anything less than new songs from the vault is inexcusable. How can you call yourself a stan? b------.
Aug 4, 2025 at 10:09 PM Popcorn bucket says "soundtrack out now" on the bottom. Popcorn is free with the movie screening which is in theatres this Thursday. I believe we'll get those 11 new acapellas Friday this week.
Aug 4, 2025 at 11:56 PM I hope they don't f--- this up man. They better have at least 4 or 5 dope unreleased tracks from his prime, and please don't rework them Em.
Aug 5, 2025 at 12:36 AM I'm afraid of him f---ing with the tracks by censoring them or somehow trying to "update" the people referenced on them if there are any
Aug 5, 2025 at 3:47 AM @Marsh that popcorn bucket does have Relapse-reference on it, maybe you were on to something
Aug 5, 2025 at 7:14 AM This is what will probably happen but surely he has tracks in the same vein as When I'm Gone or Love You More something that wouldn't really need to be updated or reworked.
Aug 5, 2025 at 10:08 AM Eminem's music catalogue are pretty much time capsules for when they were recorded. They mention celebrities relevent at the time, political parties, family members and his own personal life. Apart from very early songs when he first signed with Dre I imagine most of his vault is very personal and you could date the songs immediately right down to the year they were recorded. It's not just vocals, the music could be changed and updated. George Lucas and James Cameron do it all the time with their movies, constantly updating special effects and changing colour pallettes. They can't leave their own work alone. I think groups like The Beatles and The Beach Boys and Bob Dylan done it right. You just release what's there, warts and all I just don't think Eminem has it in him to let you hear him screw a line up or maybe his voice cracks when he tries to sing or he has to record the hook multiple times to get it right. It will all be presented as perfect. The music will all be in tune and on key. It'll sound like I was recorded yesterday....and maybe some of it was.
Aug 5, 2025 at 1:32 PM A shorter project is needed this time, say 12 cuts with a skit or two. 5 unreleased tracks and 5 new tracks, a balance. Please no fast rapping and over the top syllable count (asking this is like trying to take candy from a baby, but it would be nice)
Aug 5, 2025 at 2:05 PM I think some of you are not understanding what this soundtrack is, it's the music that will appear in the documentary so there will absolutely be songs that are huge hits, most likely instrumentals used in the background and music made just for the documentary. The unreleased music will most likely just be extras as a bonus and maybe the clips from the trailers are instrumental versions of those unreleased songs It's not about promoting Shady Records or releasing new songs. It's to represent the music in the documentary and considering a lot of footage we have seen is talking heads there must be a ton of music they will be playing in the background.
Aug 5, 2025 at 2:30 PM the last 2 soundtracks they've done weren't what you're describing. are you saying it's gonna be the score mixed with hits?
Aug 5, 2025 at 2:35 PM Dunno why the f--- they'd do that We already have curtain call 1 and 2 We need a third already?
