Not excusing poor decisions from marvel, but someone who grew up with a movie like Love and Thunder is likely gonna view it more fondly than me who saw it in theaters at age 17

Or how Andrew Garfield movies were panned and hated for years but when he was in NWH people say his movies were amazing. Or how people act like Blade sequel’s weren’t literally trashed and considered the worst movies in the genre, but after Deadpool everyone acts like they weren’t trash. Same with fantastic four. Spider-Man 3 was praised by audiences back then stupid. I was literally there and witnessed it first hand. It was massive and loved, and at the time was one of the biggest films ever. it was only considered weak compared to its predecessor films. And the internet g--- up on it back then cuz nerds were disappointed in Venom’s screen time. It wasn’t until years later that it got hate on more and more. But if you go back and watch it now, it’s a good Spider-Man movie with some of the best action scenes in Spiderman cinema. Like the sandman sequence.

Dawg I’m talking between age of 6 and 20 lmfao a 6 year old is gonna be more forgiving of a s-----y superhero movie than a 20 year old, which in turn when they grow up, they will likely look back on it more fondly

That’s why I gave the Star Wars prequel examples, as time goes on, why do you think the narrative on them has changed? People are defending Phantom Menace more than ever

People growing up with the Multiverse saga will definitely see those films in a better light than us who are watching them grown up. I’m not saying it makes a movie like Love & Thunder good, I’m saying they’ll be more fond about it and less harsh. Just like I’m less harsh on Iron Man 2 from the early MCU days because I grew up with it

You do know there are multiple captains. Just like there are multiple Spider-Men, and Multiple Black Panthers, and Multiple Hawkeyes, and multiple Thor’s, and Multiple Fantastic Four Members. Idk if you didn’t notice or are just to stupid to know what Saga we are in. MULTI-verse Saga, Multi meaning multiple. Maybe you should open up a dictionary or a Comicbooks for once. Aka the source material where all of these are canon events. This ain’t New. All these characters have had thier mantles passed down for decades.

Also the fact we have Spider-Man next up, that’s an easy billion. And then an Avengers Movie with the return of the face of the MCU… next year is an easy back to back Box office Domination. So I’m sure Fiege really ain’t worried. The A+ listers have gotten off the bench. It’s Game Time.
