    I definitely gotta check out that Kevin Abstract album soon. Him and Brockhampton in general are artists where I’ve listened to a bunch of songs but never a full album for whatever reason. But I know Quadeca seems to be all over this new Kevin Abstract album. Maybe Dr. Dre’s ears aren’t as broken as we thought

    A Bakunawa is a Filipino myth of a giant mooneating serpent that needs to be lulled into sleep by music, Quad went to the Phillipines for some shots of the movie I believe as well.

    I wonder if the concept is going to be taking that myth literally or using it for some metaphor but either way that's sick as h---

    The concept is a little less quickly understood and it's not as immediately hooky as I Didn't Mean To Haunt You but the more I listen the more I really like it.

    I feel like the only high level complaint you can have is that the sequencing and structure is pretty similar to Haunt You but the production is so different that it's not really a problem imo

    Just finished my first listen and wow. This is such a beautiful album. This gives me great summer vibes especially for going out to the beach or just near water in general. This is definitely one of those albums you need to listen to multiple times though. I’ll likely give more thoughts on this album as I give it more listens. For now I can say THUNDRRR goes INCREDIBLY HARD, I didn’t expect a song like this on the album. I also haven’t listened to FORGONE since it came out and d--- it’s just so gorgeous. My favorite songs on first listen are THAT’S WHY, THUNDRRR, THE GREAT BAKUNAWA, and FORGONE. These lyrics on THAT’S WHY>>>>>>>>
