It says Pedro will be a protagonist and lead in Avengers Doomsday and Secret wars. I think fans just ran with the headline clickbait. The actual article doesn’t even say that. Sam Wilson will Lead the Avengers, Yelena will lead the Thunderbolts/New Avengers, Reed Leads the F4, and Cyclops leads the X-Men.
