Feb 22, 2024 Manix was one of my best friends and I signed him to my record label in 2013. He signed a nondisclosure agreement agreeing not to release any of Eminem's earliest recordings after the foolish pride song was released. I've heard all of the Eminem tracks he produced with him. They're not bad or racist, just not congruent with the trajectory Marshal's career was taking at the time. James Deel aka Chaos Kid had schizophrenia before he killed himself. Marshall moved on from that time in his life. I It's pretty sad but he ghosted his entire crew of day ones because they weren't marketable and D 12 was an entirely industry manufactured rap group besides proof created to support a more marketable image for Eminem. I released an album of Manix beats before he passed away titled terminally Ill back to the bassmint. He had other projects before like the drum machine ep with vitamin c and the enemy korps project with Notch. Universal music group went to extensive measures to hide my music and stifle it's success. They stole my rap name and created an artist in Germany then dominated the search results with their Frizzo when I was gaining traction in eastern Europe with my music. True story.
Feb 28, 2024 Why would he. Some s--- he did like when he was 21, he prolly considers the music they made bad, and, is unimportant to him and not far from like a high school project, performing in talent shows n s---
Jul 7, 2025 at 11:55 PM wrong! it was more of a management discussion that they had to market him a certain way and his old crew kinda understood that. He was still living with ChaosKid and cool with Butta. Only beefin with Manix. As u can see by the recently released freestyle with ChaosKid from 97 D12 was manufactured by Proof as Frizzo said All this was from the mind of Rosenberg as he knew since he’s a failed rapper. Then he collaborated with Wendy Day and they moved Em from D12 to Outsidaz, which is why he mentions them all over SSLP instead of D12. Once he got big it didn’t matter and he brought them with him. But left the white guys to rot cuz it woulda ruined his credibility in that era. Times were diff. Fact is tho Bassmint was his longtime crew and Champtown It was a d-ck move but it was the right one, they woulda held him back. He got better hangin with the hood. Em is a chameleon and he absorbs the personality of whoever hes around becuz he never had his own personality
Jul 8, 2025 at 12:00 AM Truth is it was a rough period of my life. My bars were pretty wack and everyone said I sounded like AZ and Nas rip off. Also I dressed like a bum, and was washing dishes just to afford a honey bun. I was still developing my flow, and my friends were getting old. I had one shot to blow
