Seinfeld is a more "intellectual" or "clever" type of comedian, and not really the outwardly raunchy or vulgar type (the opposite of, say, a Sam Kinison) so it's only natural he was out of his element in that swear slip up incident (from one of his earliest appearances no less, well before he'd really built up his confidence and come into his own as a stand-up; for example notice how nervous he was in this early '80s Lettermen interview). His self-censorship when it comes to swearing is more of a stylistic preference than anything else, and sacrifices nothing. His delivery relies mostly on the strength of his wit to really hit the mark, esp on the neatness and cleverness of the logical connections that lead up to his punchlines. His best bits are the kind that you savor and appreciate quietly, and are rarely if ever laugh-out-loud funny. They're not meant to be. Your little tirade is undermined even more by the fact that you apparently look up to Larry David as some comedic giant, considering you had a picture of him as your pfp for years. You do know that Seinfeld was just as much the brainchild of Jerry Seinfeld as of Larry David? Never mind Seinfeld, this throwaway bit puts Dave Chappelle's entire career to shame btw:
