    The whole reason the United States became the world’s police in the first place is because you all dropped the ball last time - otherwise it wouldnt be a thing. We were fine being isolationists until you all surrendered to Hitler.

    If “warmonger” to you is any President that has overseen any kind of military action overseas then this is just a weightless term.

    It equivocates Obama, who pulled the U.S. out of Iraq, to Bush who authorized the invasion.

    So War on Terror presidents have no real agency if they're on the right team in other words. This isn't just some rightist talking point btw. To their credit, conscientious liberals and leftists (like your hero WPG for example!) don't make excuses for the likes of Obama, and denounce his hawkishness just as freely as his right wing and libertarian critics do.

    I don’t think Obama’s foreign policy record is clean. The expansion/usage of the drone program under his administration was pretty bad. I just don’t think encapsulating most U.S. presidents under one label is particularly useful.
