Jun 25, 2025 at 12:42 PM horrible take. those guys are trash bro. the beat isn’t really special but at least it isn’t just yet another generic trap beat. and dude, em’s verse is total tes/recovery vibes. it’s been years since he’s sounded this emotional and natural and comfortable and confident on the mic. are we even listening to the same song?
Jun 25, 2025 at 2:03 PM It's one of those moments where I wondered why doesn't he rap like this for most of the album?
Jun 25, 2025 at 5:15 PM Wtf lol that's surprising to hear, sounds like a s-----y fan made remix to me and can barely hear what Em is saying coz of the tinpot ai
Jun 25, 2025 at 5:19 PM I have to admit at first it did sound weird but it is one of my favorite em verses. Just wish they kept the 'new' beat during his verse as well
Jun 25, 2025 at 5:58 PM i’ll grant you em is going way overboard with the ai lately. but this was the first feature verse i really truly enjoyed from him in almost a decade. gone is that grating, monotonal, droning delivery he was clinging to for years. he’s finally sounding like he cares again, at least to me. reminds me of the hills remix. miss me with that parables b--- king and i etc nonsense. he sounds amazing rn
Jun 25, 2025 at 6:11 PM I find the complaints about AI to be quite funny. I wonder if they complained about rap being put on television when MTV started.
Jun 25, 2025 at 6:14 PM I mean we had autotune... which was also sorta faking that someone had a good voice when they didn't
Jun 25, 2025 at 6:27 PM We already know the voices tho. Auto tune to become a star? That’s different. No one’s going to become a star from AI by itself and it’s not going away - so if it helps someone to keep putting out good music and they are already a star I don’t see the big issue. It wasn’t even the original song, just a remix.
