Jun 24, 2025 at 11:44 PM Just finished the first 3 episodes! And wow, way better than I was expecting. The Ironman suit and visuals look amazing. Chicago feels alive and realistic. The Hood Anthony Ramos gives a great performance, especially in episode 3. And there are alot of MCU connections going back to Ironman 1. The sets and lighting are similarly shot like the daredevil Netflix shows. This isn’t as mature as daredevil of course, but it been entertaining every episode! It’s strongest when it revolves around Riri’s ai best friend and Family. There is a lot of comedy but I think it works perfectly for her sassy character compared to the forced humor in shows like she-hulk. Right now I say I like it as much as Hawkeye which is one of the better Disney+ shows tbh. Also a lot of pop culture references to Star Wars and Beyoncé and even Jay Z got a name drop. It feels very MCU, and I’m glad they are doing street level for more than just super soldier characters. It’s kinda cool to see Stark and Ironman mention constantly again in the MCU. Cliffhanger shows next weeks 3 episodes will be very magical. This first batch was more about tech, black market, crime enterprises, ect. I think it’s a cool balance. Weakest part is some of the fist hand to hand choreography is very basic. And some of the secondary side characters are just there. RiRi’s family and friends and The Hood are my favorite characters so far.

Meanwhile the reviewbomb trolls have 2 word sentences like it’s a---. And then ET had to delete bot accounts and even amend the RT scores to what they actually were. 79% Fresh. It’s always like this for the female and black Supehero movies. I wonder why?!
