You bring up a valid point, he is doing a lot of what he said he would do - although in a more chaotic way. Also he said he would lower prices not raise them.

From an independents perspective (the ones who decide these elections) - we had 2 bad choices and chose the one we felt would be best for the country and the world.

For example right now the world is safer because terrorists won’t be in control of nukes.

Those assassination attempts probably didn’t help out the far left either, especially when they were going around preaching about democracy.

Cant speak for everyone but as a moderate independent (we are about the issues not loyalty to any party) I use the term “FAR left” to describe the ones who have derailed our beloved Democratic Party (Left) from a reasonable moderate party trying to help the working and middle class - to the terrorists that they are today.

Only terrorists would lose to DJT but rather than do better they can just say it was racism and continue on with their mission to destroy the world with the full “emotionally challenged” support of their brainless followers.

I hate ideological labels because most people aren’t ideologues (even many of the ones who claim to be) but in the U.S., “liberals” are generally folks that are left-leaning/center left. The Democratic Party is run by liberals.

Yeah, a lot of confusion given the divergence of liberalism over time. Classical liberalism (generally calls for less gov. involvement) is entirely different from social liberalism (generally calls for more government involvement). The later is who Americans refer to as “liberals” whereas in Europe & elsewhere it may be the prior.
