Jun 3, 2025 Yeah, he wasted it with that weak a--- writing too. Coulda been speshal if he wrote it better. The hook and production are actually fire, for once, because usually can't stand Skylar's repetitive and generic Dido-wannabe-a---.

Jun 3, 2025 Yeah, maybe. I've given up on wanting some out of the blue artistic masterpiece now. I don't think he has anything else to say artistically. Even when he does on the odd song (like Darkness), he f---s up the project as a whole with other songs or by compromising etc. although tbf Side A (and is pretty d--- good, with few flaws. But yeah, maybe he should just try go out by making some final, big legacy songs.

There's content in 'Habits', @ 'b---- get off the internet, you ain't even fed your kids dinner yet', that's MMLP-esque and societal commentary. That's the content that excites me, not another Hailie song. He just lazily tried to re-do Castle & Arose because he felt they were wasted on Revival, let's be honest; but you can't re-write those, those were genuine and both amazing, especially Arose. So, he didn't have it in the tank, which is why both feel like forced retreads, because that's exactly what they are. Shoulda left em off or tried harder.
