Jan 13, 2025 I'd much prefer him to continue reworking his old material and releasing albums that way... but it does show that he's kinda finished. I would love to know if he's actually forgotten how to flow/sound good. He genuinely might be incapable of flowing like he used to. Tbh TDOSS did have some of his best sounding flows and voices in years (ai aside), but then he hits you with Temporary and Somebody Save Me and it makes you think he's completely lost it again. You can't tell me him sounding that awkward on those songs is an artistic choice? This is the same guy who gave us Hailie's Song, Mockingbird, When I'm Gone, Beautiful, Going Through Changes, etc.

Jan 13, 2025 There's plenty of songs since Kamikaze that prove that he's still got it. The newly leaked MP (the Kami song that "went too far") is a prime example. Though if I'd heard it in 2018 I might have glazed over it. DoSS prompted me to pay closer attention to his new music and I realized I've been sleeping on a fair chunk of it.
