If he was rapping like that the whole song then it be more like recovery era EM. The first verse about laxatives and ex lacks is like modern day bad em dad jokes

Jul 17, 2024 Just saw the Just Lose It video and kind of forgot about the whole ”guess whos back” and that it is filled with tributes to his old stuffs. Feels very much like what Houdini is doing, but worse. also forgot how many times Em tried to k--- Slim, even in ”when im gone” Just watched through 8mile and all his music videos with my son who got a new found love for eminem thanks to this album. and ngl, he is kind of a broken record, it’s getting a bit repetitive, like, I love this album but I think for me. It’s the last time he can get away with it. not sure I’d care enough for another album where he lives in his past #1 hits, and tries to k--- slim, how he is the goat, and talks about how hailey is This precious thing, she grown now. if he is going to do a song about her it should be from the perspective post malone did recently which was dope asf. but whatever comes next, he needs to have his anger back. Not just provoke for the sake of provoking. If slim comes back its not to be edgy, he needs the anger back and to piss the world off, or to beat at the thing that annoys everyone, as he did with boybands back in the days. so I hope it’s the death of the type av music he been doing since encore, and his future stuff is more impactful.
