Jun 13, 2024 I wanted to solidify my album rankings ahead of TDOSS, so over the last few days, I listened to Em's entire discography from front to back and rated each song (excluding intros/skits/interludes), then averaged them to score the album. Jun 13, 2024 Here's a cool little conspiracy fun fact thing in my brain I've never heard anyone talk about.. I was watching Halloween H20 for the first time and LL Cool J plays a security gaurd in it. Cool. He's one one of my favorite artists ever.. then I got to thinking about Eminem's obsession with horror movie lore in his lyrics(especially on Relapse) and his reverence for LL Cool J. There's been so many times he's paid homage to the Hip-Hop legend.. I believe LL recently gifted him with a Rockthebells jacket. Anyway they're real tight. Here's my theory. After I saw how Michael Myers messed with LL in H20 and put him in a situation that got him messed up, Ems had beef with the fictional character through his alter ego Slim Shady.. Lmao here's a few lines he's rapped about Myers. "To turn Halloween back to a trick or treat holiday Have Michael Myers looking like a liar Swipe his powers, replace his knife with flowers and a stack of flyers" "Pull at it all stops, any who touch a mic prior's Not even Austin Powers, how the f--- are they Mike Myers? And tell that psycho to pass the torch To the whacko before I take a s--- in his Jack-O-Lantern And smash it on his porch" Em wants to k--- Michael Myers in some fictional Universe where rappers and horror movie killers merge.
Jun 13, 2024 Sometimes I wonder what the old me’d say If he could see the way s--- is toodayyyyy I gotta commend Eminem, his singing actually isn’t bad on Houdini. It’s much better than something like Stronger Than I Was. That vocal stacking helps out a ton.

I planned to go all in and rate every beat, hook, verse etc on its own (and not just one general rating per song) to get some kind of average rating per song and then per album. I might wait and do it after TDOSS have been out for a while and include it as well… That list looks sort of what I imagine my ranking would be, SSLP over Relapse though…
