    This thread is purely to maybe bring a bit of discussion tn the forum thats not in the Em thread. We currently have Houdini and Not Like Us occupying the 2 top spots on the single charts. Two completely different songs.

    If you had to choose, which would you say is the better overall song?

    Not Like Us - a diss song that also tops the charts, huge L for 'hitmaker' Drake. Some clever lines, dope beat, though I don't like Kendricks flow for the whole song

    Houdini - literally a throwback song that gets people nostalgic and excited. While still sounding fresh.

    Both of them fit their purpose perfectly tbh. At the moment I prefer Houdini because its just one song and huge for Eminem. If it came w the album not sure if it would stand out. Not Like Us came was one of 5 disstracks and for me not even the most enjoyable. Still both great tracks though. Also I like Eminem more than Kendrick so its a little bias as well.

    IMO Not Like Us absolutely trumps Houdini in every way. Kendrick had the whole West Coast bopping. I dont think Em could ever make a song that will resonate with that many people in such a short span of time ever again. Not Like Us is like comparing a prime Dicaprio performance to an animated kids film.

    Eminem Houdini is doing this number without airplay and huge playlisting. It's on pace to outview Not Like US in 3weeks on YouTube and it will compete with not like us if added to playlist and send to radio.

    Houdini is pretty good by modern Eminem standards but Not Like Us is a way better written song
