He stuck with using the home as a metaphor for his own age, no.2 showing slightly older... now a lot so, f----- up... and he's like a ghost in the walls. This is why a lot of rumours of the title 'haunted house' kept floating around; murmurs from the inside design team seeing early mock-ups of the house / Em's face etc.
