My brother is working on something. He has been since early last year. He's taking his time with this one.

Not really. All speculation and what I think . You know Eminem is 50 and a human, right? His career winding down and not being active with releasing music as much or in the public eye is safe assumption at this point of his career.

This warped bubble that some people have him on. That he should be touring, releasing albums every year and going on talk shows like it’s 2002 is not reality. It’s not going to happen at this stage of his career, accept it.

Which is the worst development in (rap) music OAT. f---ing losers posting on social media when their craft is rap music.... music thats been used to battle/beef for centuries.

This is why I barely respect modern rappers.

Yeah I kinda wish popular rappers dissed each other on songs instead of on social media still. Smaller rappers still diss each other in drill music and stuff like that but that’s about it.

There’s a lot that goes into it… the access to social media, rap not looked at as a competitive sport anymore, rappers caring about their brand and thinking dissing will hurt it, rappers worrying about things escalating to violence and being scared to say names, rappers more focused on the art and political topics, rappers more worried about getting streams with viral songs than battling people they have problems with, etc.

I also think all those YouTubers making diss tracks back in like 2016-2018 made the s--- look really corny.

Yep. Even if I hate it I sorta get it, too.

Respect doesn't matter anymore. Its all about getting clicks and likes. That's what defines if someone is good / popular.

I can totally understand someone like Drake rather making money than wasting time dissing someone.

Plus, back in the days it meant something. Jay vs Nas was about the crown of New York, who's the best. Thats what made takeover, ether etc so good. Those things aren't an issue in todays rap. And to be fair, I also rather see my favorite rappers collab with eachother than diss songs.

Being totally fair, grown men (or children like 50 cent, game etc.) calling eachother names for some bs reason in songs is just as pathetic but at least there's some entertainment in it.

Posting a public tweet calling someone a hoe or whatever... and you're not 12, you need to seek help lol.
