Dec 2, 2022 He's obviously thumbing his nose at "the Jews" not unironically praising Hitler. The general message is: They throwin' hate at me Want me to stay at ease f--- you and your corporation Y'all n----s can't control me
Dec 3, 2022 Wearing the mask in a music video or something is one thing . But out in public . What’s he even doing lol
Dec 3, 2022 He's such a moron. It's one of those things where I know he's on some dumbass "love everyone be positive there's good in every person" bs but in the end it empowers people who believe this s--- nonetheless. Sad to see someone with such talent who used to be so inspirational to many has sunk so low.
Dec 4, 2022 kanye west is clearly not mentally stable. But is he hurting anyone ? His off the wall opinions are just that, off the wall opinions.
Dec 4, 2022 Yeah people wavin that anti-jew s--- by the bridge in L.A. & then the nazi s--- flown around over in Florida. And his whole thing is all this backlash is him being ahead of his time and bringing new ideas & convos people aren't ready for. Bro thinks he's playing 4D chess but he's rly just f---in everything up for himself & a lotta people.
Dec 4, 2022 Does this affect how any of you enjoy his music ? I was always of the opinion that you should separate the art from the artist because let's face it, a lot of talented artists are s-----y people in their private lives....but it's kind of hard to enjoy Kanye's music like I used to when he's coming out and praising the most genocidal maniac in human history. It would be difficult to stop listening to his music altogether since hes responsible for creating some of the best albums in hip hop (nevermind the amount of classic beats he's made for other artists), but his recent public behavior definitely has some impact on the listening experience. I do think his career is pretty much done though, I can't see him rebounding from this. He hasn't put out a great album in almost a decade anyway. I think this is the worst anti semitism I've ever heard expressed by a celebrity in my lifetime (makes Mel Gibson seem quite tame). also, while it's clear his mental illness plays a part in this, it doesn't in any way excuse what he's doing. being bipolar doesn't make you an anti semite. He's a grown a--- man, it's on him to get the treatment he needs.
Dec 4, 2022 I find that's a slippery slope though....we cancel his albums, ok, then what? what about the albums he produced or had a significant hand in producing (Blueprint, Be, Daytona)? I think you could still enjoy the music while acknowledging that the artist is a piece of s---.
Dec 4, 2022 Yeah, his last great album was Yeezus to me. Life of Pablo was decent but clearly was unfinished and sloppily put together. Then after that his music was just terrible.
Dec 4, 2022 Yeezus was good to me, but every album before that great. I mean, so many actors, singers/rappers are pieces of s--- for different reasons. Not listening to their music or watching their shows isn't gonna do one thing, only deprive myself of good stuff lol. Also I don't stream or buy so it won't make a change anyways
Dec 4, 2022 I already bought those albums so I at least don't have have to put more money to his pockets by buying them again or streaming them
Dec 4, 2022 Yall guys done crying and moaning about him? He made graduation he can do whatever he wants
Dec 4, 2022 There is a difference between not listening and not supporting. Like yeah not buying his s---, I can get that. But not listening to beautiful music because he's a shithead is stupid
