Wow. Nas is not following the rules. Since when is the third part of anything allowed to be the best?

Nas has longevity that is unmatched. Same voice, same quality of lyrics, same feels. Crisp clean over Hit-boy production. My favorite storyteller. I Am was the first disc I copped of his back in the summer of 99’,wore that s--- outtt. He continues to impress.

I like both. His last few have mostly had a more mellow mood which is still great, but him over a Nas is Like more upbeat tempo is magical

I'm loving that Nas is getting his flowers and that people still recognize and praise real hip-hop.
It's easy to distinguish the difference between real hip-hop and this new s---. I'm all for innovation in music, but nothing beats this era of hip-hop.

Yeah, from KD1 to Magic I definitely think Magic is the best one. I’ll still check this new one out though

Nas has also tried a more mainstream style, it's not like he always does the same

I love both sides of Nas so it's dope :em55:

This album is fantastic. Not the biggest nas fan. But I’ve always played his albums at least one . This is going to be in rotation for a long time .

Too early to rank but this is again, really good. Bold move on Nas' part releasing a 17 track album with no features but it perfectly compliments the energy he's brought the past few years and seems fitting to cap off the trilogy. Tons of great songs on here, Hit Boy brought it also. I thought KD1 was fine but it really didn't prepare us for the things to follow.

Loving the comments on this album but I do think it took time to get going. First few tracks seemed a bit meh. Maybe I shouldn't have listened to Magic last night...

I thought the opposite. Thought it started out really strong and then trailed off at the end. Legit, Thun, Michael & Quincy are probably my top 3 right now and basically the first 3 tracks

I thought KD1 was a step in the right direction, didn’t love it but was solid compared to what he did the previous 7 years

KD2 I thought was good, not great but very solid

    Magic was dope

but to me this KD3 album is amazing, Nas sounds better than he has in a loooong time.

too early to say but id say this is his best album since Gods Son

I did love Distant Relatives as well between Godson and this
