I think people I’m the past generation have done that as well though. Like Elvis was considered very controversial when he first came out I’m pretty sure.

Yeah ok so genre-wise, em is without any doubt the biggest in rap. He has the mj,elvis and prince status. There is a huge different between being the best and being the biggest, there is no way any other rapper will reach Ems status. No way

Well, if you compare it to rock and roll which has been alive longer than rap.

People who were in the beginning of rock and roll in the 50s, like Elvis and the Beatles were probably the same popularity as some rock and roll stars in the 70s/80s like Guns N Roses and David Bowie.

So we could get another rapper in the next generation who’s as big as Eminem in like 20 years when the generations have changed. Who knows hip hop is still a pretty new genre.

Yeah i see where ure coming from but i really doubt that tho, sure the genre is new and that sure is interesting since it has had a lot of peaks like rock n roll and pop and will for sure continue like that, but Ems status and same goes for Mj and Elvis for that matter is so unique. Popularity wise i cant see no one surpassing Em, he gets a new fanbase for each generation.

h--- yeah, I am a fan. I try to listen to a J. Dilla produced song or project at least once a week. Good for the soul.

Eminem is the GOAT of all time for his features and Tech N9ne is the GOAT for all his classic albums. Logic will probably outdo both by the time he retires. He is still so young (and jacked these days woofta hott)

Disagree. If people get into Em for those ridiculous reasons then I just consider the source. He is a lyrical genius that is constantly working to never let his fans down again after his brief hiatus. I like His I Dont Give A f--- Attitude and that he does what he wants to do.. I adore his rags to riches story.

Then those arent actual fans of rap or hip/hop period so their opinion doesnt count. I, however am a fan of many rappers/hip hop artists. Ive been emerged for quite some time and Em is on top to me. His wordplay, metaphors, storytelling, his lyrical genius, raps about real life situtaions and reationships, he can write both beats and melodies. He cant be censored, and then had the balls to tell his fans that if they supported Trump then he didnt want them as fans.

Yeah, exactly. There is WAY too much focus on the catalogue when discussing GOAT's around here. Way too much.

You would s--- his d-ck if given the chance, with this corny a--- post. People really live under a rock and think that because he was at the right place at the right time, that he's the only one within the realm of his craft and this culture, who "DESERVED" to obtain everything he did. Just him alone. You're dense as f---. He's from Detroit, which was the hardest g.d. city to climb out of.

But was born in f---in' St. Joseph, Missouri, and only really officially started living here consistently after the age of 12. Get off his d-ck. He's popular because America has a EurObsession Supremacy issue they can't stop fetishizing.

It's not healthy. The n----- was at his peak for 5 years. Most of the rest of his tenure was wasted. But we'll just let the fact that his catalog is one of the most inconsistent around, slide on by. Get on your knees and pray to your weak a--- cloned Rap God, you insolent fool.

Okay, America has a "EurObsession Supremacy issue." Plus fetishizing. Got it. lol Not sure what you're rambling about, you little dipshit. Thanks for the Em bio though.

Tell us more about these rappers you grew up with...

You mean the rapper who hasn't released a great album in 15 years and makes music with Ed Sheeran?

    Definitely underrated
