He was at his most creative, most passionate and hungriest during this era. Every song on MMLP is 10/10 to me except Under the Influence (thanks to D12).

You ever heard of the expression low hanging fruit? What Eminem did had never been done before, so he was creating shock value and it was easy to do that. All he had to do was get angry and call out a bunch of people. But now, people are used to that. So he no longer can just act all pissed and start dissing people.

Also, Eminem was very angry back then. Or at least he put on the facade that he was. He was desperate to be the most famous rapper ever. He really wanted that money. Now he's laid back and how can he act all pissed off about all these things like Nsync when he lives a very luxurious life? Eminem was a monster. Now he's a normal human being who is very mature.

i think em has changed alot his daughter is alot older and alot of problems with family have sort of been resolved at the time that album came out dre and em were basically beginning the start of there journey so its understandable why the music sounded so great back then and with the bass brothers (the anger back then was sincere not forced when your young u dont give a f--- about what the consequences are and that what makes that album

It's the truth tho. I'm not even.saying MMLP is perfect. But TES is flawed AF. For some reason, That's not what a lot of people who love Eminem and his music believe.

It is flawed but it is still a great album. The flaws aren't bad.
