That’s dumb. We should just change the title of the award then if it’s not going to the truly most “valuable player.” I don’t think the pats would be 8-2 without Brady but I think their fall off would be less than if the Seahawks lost Wilson. Had Brady not started the season & Jimmy G. did (for whatever reason), Pats would still be a threatening/playoff caliber team. Seahawks without Wilson are not.

But historically that's what the award is, the most stastically impressive QB on the best team.

The only time I can remember this not being the case is when Peyton won it over Brees in like 2008

If the MVP award was literally the most valuable player to his team Aaron Rodgers would've won it like 4-5 times by now...they're like 3-14 over his two injuries and really just embarassing without him

Which is dumb. That’s not how it should be. Either that or change the title to something else.

Should've seperated MVP into MVP and Best Quarterback years ago when it became such a pass heavy league, but they missed the boat

Lol @ thinking Wilson should win MVP over Wentz and Brady.

I'm not sold on Wentz for MVP either just because Wentz has a whole team playing good around him. Also passing the football at the goal line (5-1 yard line) instead of running the ball for a passing td just to make yourself look better isn't impressive, which Eagles do all the time. Professional analysts see that s---. Wentz getting cheap touchdowns isn't going to win him MVP with his below average passer rating stats.

I say if Eagles win out(and Wentz plays good obviously) , Wentz winning MVP wouldn't be a bad decision

Yeah I mean winning out will definitely
help him. He'll have to win a game himself in a clutch situation and improve his passer rating to win over Brady. Just from what I watched analysts argue about MVP they all brought up good points on Wentz having to improve more before beating out Brady. Let's not forget the best team eagles played all year was the chiefs and they lost. Eagles had like the easiest ranked schedule in the league. Wentz just never shown himself to be clutch material yet. Brady has.

Like I was saying, the loss of Tyron has really thrown Dak off.

Also, even without Peters, Eagles O-Line is excelling:

Every elite qb has seasons where offensive linemen go down. Every single season at least one starting OL seems to get hurt for the year on almost every team. One guy going down doesn't excuse Dak playing as bad as he has been recently. Good quarterbacks will find ways to manage.

Didn't the cowboys have one of the best offensive lines last year? Perhaps maybe the only reason Dak did as good as he did?

But enigma is right on Wentz having it made for himself this year with the way his line and defense is currently playing. Wentz is taking advantage of it fairly well at least. He still wasn't mind blowing at all this year and not once did he make me say "Wentz is going to be the future of elites." Eagles would still get killed by multiple afc teams.

    @Motor City

to me, this thanksgiving day game is the most important remaining game for the vikings. if we win tomorrow, the division is pretty much a wrap (not technically, but its gonna be pretty tough for the lions to come back from 3 games behind). if we lose, the lions are only one game back and right on our tail.

the first time we played you guys this season, the lions had a hard time moving the ball. you guys got into scoring position mostly because of our offensive mistakes (3 fumbles, SMH)

but this time its at your house, so it'll probably be a little tougher to slow down your offense. historically, the vikings haven't done that good on thursday games, but i feel like our offense is finally catching up to our defense and its paying huge dividends---so i say vikes win! :)

My brain says Vikings win, my heart of course says Lions lol.

Ever since we beat you guys earlier in the season you’ve been on a tear. Almost as if losing to us was a wake up call lol.

I think Vikings win a close game. 20-17 or 24-20 something around those

I got the Lions winning tomorrow unfortunately. Just based off the Vikings history this seems like a typical let down situation.

I really don’t know what to expect though, hopefully Vikes can continue to prove they’re for real this year and won’t just choke in the big game/playoffs like usual.

Although I got another gut feeling bout today....Bridgewater WILL be back and enter the game at some point, not sure if it'll be an injury to Keenum, or just the Vikes getting destroyed and/or Keenum playing bad.

Honestly it's better for the Vikings if he doesn't play probably, cuz all those situations would be bad. But still it'd be a great moment to see him back out there.

f--- man I just got off work like 2 hours ago, haven't slept yet and the Vikes play in f---in 5 hours....I don't know what to do cuz don't wanna oversleep and miss it, could set an alarm i guess but might also just stay up.

@Kon would you start Latavius Murray over Demarco Murray or Joe Mixon? The only thing keeping me from starting Latavius over Mixon is Mixon plays the browns this week.

I have the most points in one league and that will pay me back most of my money invested in fantasy. Need to stay ahead 37 points the next 2 weeks from the guy right behind me.

Really need diggs and Theilen to go off today or even just one of them having a great game should help. Also have Tate starting wondering if I should pull him.

I'd go with Murray personally, he's been getting good fantasy numbers the past couple weeks, and no reason to believe his touches will go down..McKinnon will get some too as usual, but Murray tends to be the main option on run plays usually.

Not really sure what to expect of Diggs and Thielen, almost feel 1 of them is due for a down game..but who knows. Thielen looks so reliable right now, hard to believe it's him though lol. Looking forward to it, crazy having to make big last minute fantasy decisions on thursday morning already lol.
