    My first thought is the decision to get f---in kendrick on a song for one... What about you? Is it something to do with its length? The overall vibe? Certain features?

    its way too long, could cut 40% of the songs easily

    extremely formulaic songs aswell as safe and boring, feels like heavy pandering

    s-----y kendrick feature ruined what wouldve been one of the best songs

    no real holistic statement with this album apart from "im a full blown pop star now" which really isnt for me, abel is bruno mars tier now (not necessarily a bad thing)

    I know the first few listens I'd definitely say length. Track 11-16 were sounding way too similar for me and I was a bit disappointed.

    More listens though idk, I could see it still being length as a flaw but the album has definitely grown on me in the back half. I'm enjoying it. I think I Feel It Coming is an excellent closer.

    It's run-time is only an hour but yeah maybe cut the tracklisting down a bit.

    I really haven't found an issue with the length yet and normally thats my first qualm with an album cos my attention span sucks

    Definitely length, i feel like he could've cut like half the songs and i wouldve liked to see the better ones explored a bit more, maybe evolve a little,

    I wanna dislike the kendrick verse cos i feel it doesnt add much to the theme of the song and feels pretty out of place, but his flow is so good i end up bobbing to it everytime, wouldve been really good for a remix

    It also feels very long to me, he should switch up the song order. Like someone mentioned in this thread, in the end many songs sound a bit the same. The first 4 songs all sound very different, he should placed songs like False Alarm later imo.
    Maybe he could have released Starboy like JT's 20/20 experience, because if I listen to the songs once by once I like nearly every one of them, but as a whole it kinda lacks something. But that's criticism on a very high level because the album is pretty good.

    (ALSO SCRATCH THAT KENDRICK VERSE. INSTANT SKIP AFTER THE FIRST HOOK!)

    Idk why length is an issue, really rare these days for an artist to release a 15+ song album. Only tracks I wasn't feeling that much are Rockin & the interlude.
