Jan 28, 2016 It's almost like the author is trying to make you feel guilty if you don't share his sentiments.. 1st off..Kendrick's first show endorsement was before the control verse and he has utilized his platform to advertise his distaste for the g--- culture and how it has hurt so many. Secondly, Nike Cortez's are Nike sneakers which are far more "desinger" than classic reebok. That he actually sell for under $100 dollars.. Thirdly, I've noticed a trend on here to try to balance out the Kendrick praise with hate and its despicable. It's ok..he is the golden child, he is winning, he is the king right now...so it seems almost blasphemous to go against him..So by doing so you think you are actually being fair and balanced but you are actually not Whether you like it or not, this will do nothing to alter Kendrick's message and it won't taint his image where his word will be question when the next classic comes around. It's crazy how you have a artist like Dot (And Cole and others). That's not in the news for bs and Section 80 for some reason is trying to be politically correct....
Jan 28, 2016 I literally have no idea what your point is or what your thread is trying to say you went from Kendricks album and control verse to Kendrick releasing sneakers to section eighth being politically correct
Jan 28, 2016 This is not a big deal but the author definitely didn't do his homework... he clearly doesn't know what hes talking about. 1) This isn't controversial, I haven't seen anybody talking about it. 2) Like you said, this isn't his first deal with designers. 3) Kendrick often uses that platform to earn money just to give it back to his city & those who really need it, thats one of the reasons why hes getting the key of Compton 4) Quoting his control verse was pretty much useless... Kendrick himself said he was just having fun since the song was never supposed to see the light of the day. Kendrick was having fun freestyling over an unreleased beat and sean decided to release the song (good promo for his album I guess) and the entire article seems to be based on that.
