    Seems to me a lot of people had Covid, since non of y'all got taste anyway. :bookah:
    Just kidding.

    Had the J&J vaccine, got covid last november. It was a light flu, nothing special tbh.
    I'm waiting with the booster since the infection gave me antibodies, which should protect me for at least 6 months after infection, so I'll probably get my booster around april.

    For the first year and a half or so no one in my family got sick. Kids went to school masked, had strict rules at school. It was fine. This school year however, they still wear masks but every other Covid rule was loosened, less strict. My son got Covid in September but handled it like it was nothing. My other 2 kids were sick at the same time, but they both kept testing negative. Since September they've been sick/had a cold almost every other week but never tested positive. Now my oldest son got sick last week but it was over in like 3 days, except he lost his voice. Then my wife got the same symptoms and she tested positive for Covid. So she's isolating in our bedroom and no one else is sick currently. My 2 oldest got vaccinated and so did me and my wife (and got boosters). My youngest is too young.

    Same here. It's the middle of flu season.. am I supposed to go drive thru a test center every time I have a runny nose? Ill keep my distance but that's it. If I accidently spread a germ then it's not my fault whoever caught it didn't wash their hands.

    I mean, you've gotta respect their decision. These bloodclot side effects are serious. It's a question of putting your belief in science or faith. Covid kills a very low number of people, blood clots have also affected a very low number of people. I decided to get the vaccine because I care about other people as well as myself plus the fact that you can't get a mild blood clot ap nothing I can do about that. I'd rather gamble with getting mild Covid.
    So yeah, pro-vax but I understand why others aren't.

    No it's the truth, I have add/hd. Fight or flight response is constantly on in my brain - if it's not immediately life threatening or important my brain bins the information. So a 99% chance of survival is rly not something I'm gonna give a f--- about aprry

    Yeah well considering the rapid test will say positive if you drink orange juice and do it I'm like what's the point of anything lol?

    (Not a conspiracy, kids are dipping their tests in orange juice to get a false positive and an entire year of school. Next gen is f----- lol)

    Looks like we're allowed to go get a haircut, go shopping and to the gym again after tomorrow, but yeah, they closed everything except supermarkets and other key stores you basically need for survival a couple of weeks ago. That's what happens when you got a bunch of fuckwitz that can't stick to a plan as government.

    welp. i tested negative (PCR) again yesterday. Starting to think this covid thing is a real hoax.

    timeline:
    • I got PCR tested on the 6th: negative
    • She started to get symptoms on the 9th
    • She got PCR swapped on the 10th: positive (results came back on the 12th when i posted here)
    • I got PCR tested on the 12th: negative

    ...I'm going to get another test on Friday since that will be a full 5+ days following her symptom onset, as is recommended for testing. After that, I'm going to live my life and assume I'm a god.
