    well i see all you guys getting lucky, guess who got lucky as f--- last night tho on GTS/Wonder Trade

    -throw up breed reject grubbin on wonder trade, cop a lvl 100 alolan ninetails. timid and EV trained holding Leftovers. ballin.
    -put a grubbin breed reject on GTS for lvl 1-10 gible, cop a lvl 1 breed reject Jap Gible in a beast ball. ballin.

    since theirs exclusive 1-of-each pokeball in the game i'm trying to catch ball specific mons. Like I caught a Gabite in a Lure ball then bred it with the Jap Gible so I could get a Garchomp in my party that's also in a lure ball. going for that balltism, garchomp is red/blue/yellow and Lure balls are too so i think it's pretty cool.

    if anyone wants a breed reject Gible in a Lure Ball or Beast Ball hit me up and i'll send you one.

    Anyone using Mimikyu? Just checked its moves and it can learn like 9 different types... grass, fairy, ghost, normal, dark, electric, psychic, fire, bug. I want it!

    On the second island now, just past the farm area with all the Tauros and Miltank. Got mostly the same team. Left an Eevee and Umbreon in the daycare to breed me some more Eevees

    Chaining is when you encounter a wild pokemon, after you get its health to half it starts calling wild pokemon for help, and it's generally a pokemon in the same species, cubone will call cubones and marowaks, and also kangaskhan. And you just keep killing the called pokemon for exp or until the one you want to catch shows up. I was going to say that's how you could get the marowak below lvl 27, bagon will call a low leveled Salamence on occasion As well.
    I have yet to catch a shiny, and yeah @theg you should, I actually enjoyed the cutscenes, gave it a better feel for the story for me.

    I caught my tapus with luxury balls and heal balls and the like. Don't really care for them either, use KoKo right now for natures madness for catching other pokes

    got to rename my festival plaza just before, pretty cool. this thing takes ages to grind. forcing myself to get a bit of FC grinding in before i beat the game.

    Press X and go over to the right for the Scanner. Scan 10 of those codes. ^ Each day you can scan 10 Pokémon which allows you to scan the island for whichever Pokémon/Island/Day it is. Only 1 Island Scan per day and 1 hour to catch one after you get 100 points. It's best to wait til you have the entire island explored before using the island scan because it might tell you to go somewhere you haven't unlocked and your 1 hour will be wasted.

    Didn't get to play yesterday coz I was out all day at the cricket. Decidueye, Snorlax, Umbreon, Lycanroc, Charjabug and Slowpoke are a part of my team at the moment and I'll be on the third island by tonight.

    Waiting for tomorrow so I can get Cyndaquil via QR Scanner on Melemele Island.

    Haha that's kinda what I'm doing too, but I said I'd only use non-Gen 1 Pokémon. Since I always loved Gen 1 as a kid and then used a mostly Gen 1 team in Pokémon Y, I'm trying to avoid them all together and use mostly Sun/Moon ones, and others from 2-6. Goliosopod looks pretty cool as well. Looking forward to finding some badass mons to add to the team!

    Also just saw what Mega Salamence looks like for the first time, very cool! I guess the mega evolutions thing got dropped for gen 7?

    d--- y'all are flying through the game. I'm just approaching the first trial

    & 3 others I don't use, waiting for better pokes to fill the spots. (Not using exp all)

    Loving the game though, looking forward to catching up to everyone. 21 caught so far
    What a great well balanced team. Love Magnezone and I also wanna use Pallosand

    Also if you guys beat the Sun & Moon demo which you can download in the store, you will be able to transfer Ash's Greninja from the demo to the main game.

    It's good because you can catch almost every legendary
    X/Y has the rest other than the Myth Pokes like Mew, Celebi, etc

    Nice team so far!

    And that's cool, I'm looking forward to those.. glad they're challenging. I like to have to use strategy to battle. I was forced to during my OR play through I just finished cuz I stupidly tried to get through the whole game only using Sceptile and once I got to the elite 4 I was screwed. Had to go Bulbapedia and figure out type advantages for each one and use 50 revives :mjcry:

    The bird has a pretty cool toucan final evolution, I might want to use that guy
