I'm a music nerd and discussing music, being around musicians is what I do all day, every day. I don't pretend to know anything, but I try to learn as much as I can.

I actually praise young thug for his groundbreaking transition between different rhythmic levels, I applaud him for constantly evolving his rhythmic delivery. One of the great things about hip hop is the multitude of ways to enjoy it. Whether its for the storytelling, the complex rhyming, the production,...there's music for everybody but a rapper like young thug lacks in a lot of other departments, at least in my opinion.

One of the highest rated albums this year and they give it that mediocre a--- review

After seeing this last night I went back to the record and can honestly say it's still very meh in my opinion my favorite track is the one with future or mixtape it would be the one with Jay elec but they got that church song playing the first half

I do think if you dug into thugs work more you'd see that he's not as lacking in other areas as you claim, but in the end if what you're looking for in hip hop is rigid it won't matter

At least you appreciate the talent you're able to see

pitchfork is cancer
I decided to get an opinion about some hated eminem albums (expecting them to s--- on it like everyone else)
I expected the same (he fell off) s---, but no, the f---ers gave mmlp2 a 4.2 because it was misogynist. and because there were slight interjections of unneeded lines ,sublte word interjections and pronunciation gymnastics in some lines to keep the rhyme scheme consistency.
Otherwise from that they said he was still a technical god, and that he had "alchemical control of rhyme and diction"
so he raps like a god, but i take away points because he bags at his wife and hates women.
this place cant be taken seriously
too political to objectively review music
