    basically this, lol. like, no one is in here making the argument that working-class white people pay direct reparations. it's literally "maybe don't use the one word we've all agreed is a horrible racial epithet," and some of y'all are jumping through hoops to go "well, what if...."

    Not condoning the use of the word by any means; but for a start when you’re at a concert and everyone is singing/rapping, in that atmosphere you’re probably gonna end up rapping the whole thing, esp. if you’re a young white girl - like mentioned in the article - who’s naïve to the derogatory roots of the word

    That context is a different argument to those who knowingly say it in an offensive way, knowing the roots of the word etc

    Well obv a majority of movies back in the day are pretty white lol most of superhoes are white and when a movie this day and age change the race white people get mad for not following a comic that was made in a era of racist tension
