    Saw 2 or 3 flags for excessive celebration yesterday that I feel wouldn't have been flags last year, think they're cracking down and its really lame and pathetic.

    Yeah it's getting out of hand, these are grown a--- men, let them have their fun. It's pathetic. I saw a dude in college get flagged after he had an INT, the QB tackled him and as they got up he gave the QB the ball back. CB got penalized. Don't agree with that s--- at all, if you can't handle a little s--- talking, don't watch don't play.

    Even when I played highschool ball, we didn't get penalized for half the s--- these guys are doing in the NFL. I talked a lot of s--- on the field too because I loved getting players riled up, only once had a ref tell me to cool it.

    Agreed. Takes all the fun out of the game. Allow the players to have personalities. It's only going to sky rocket ratings. I said this in the other NFL thread but the new "two taunting penalties is an ejection" rule is so dumb.

    Yeah like what are they trying to do or prove exactly? I understand you have to draw a line at some point to keep things from getting out of hand and disrupting the game but the petty little s--- they wanna get on these guys about anymore is ridiculous. How about these refs figure out what a catch is instead of worrying about the players having a little fun on the field.
