The "Anaconda" singer warned the 33-year-old that Drake would not have been with her if the former was not taken by Meek Mill. Minaj is reportedly not upset after hearing about the romance between Drake and Serena. She reportedly thinks “it's cute,” and also labeled Williams as second best, because of which Drake is attracted towards her. “Nicki’s not one to throw shade, but she sees Drake out there, flirting with Serena,” a source toldHollywood Life. “It’s about time a woman gave him a chance. But Serena should know that the only reason Drake’s with her is because he can’t have Nicki. Nicki’s just calling it like it is.” The source reportedly said that “Drake likes strong, powerful and intelligent women,” and “since he can’t have the body goddess… he’s going after the next best thing.
