Edmonton is a s--- hole. They would have to overpay to get any respectable player. They draft 'good' is an overstatement since they draft the same style player. Talent, small forward.

There ownership needs an overhall then the team pn the ice needs a reset. They have to decide who they want to build the team around.

Wild owning the Habs, they're lucky it's only 2-0. Shots is 30-9 almost at the end of 2 lol. @sweetchika must not be happy right now.

Wild have had a couple games where they fell apart in the 3rd though so not over yet especially since Montreal is mostly a good team. Wild playing great defense though and they're even missing Suter.

As an Oilers fan, I've been following that circus for a while now. That team won't succeed until they get rid of the entire boys club they have in management (Lowe, Mactavish)

It starts with management and trickles down to the coaches. There's no structure amongst the brass so naturally there is no structure on the ice. They have plenty of talented individuals they need to move more towards playing a team game and individuals playing in the structure of a system.

Sharks been getting wrecked all season. Just got two regulation wins in a row, first time since the first two games of the season.

Their draft picks after the first round have been dreadful. They take a small, skilled forward with their top 3 pick because those guys are always the top in the draft class. After that, they are awful at finding anyone else. And FAs don't want to come there so the only chance they have is development through the draft.

@Hasman I live one province over in Sask so when I was a kid I had to pick between the Oilers or Flames :gun:. May turn to a Jets fan but I f---ing hate Winnipeg as a city.

At this point, anything is better than being an Oilers fan hahahaha.

And nah, drafting has been good in the MacT era. It's too early to make a good argument either way, but guys like Yakimov and Khaira are going to be impact depth players, which is exactly what this organization needs. Our prospect pool on defence might be one of the stronger ones in the NHL as well.

I enjoy following the prospects more than the actual team at this point :manny:

Well it's becoming more and more obvious the Wild needed to get a goalie this offseason and they didn't. I had some hope for Kuemper and still kinda do but they still should have got someone else for this year. They keep losing games where they have 10 or so more shots than the other team, that wouldn't happen nearly as often if they had a better goalie. It's also gonna be real hard to advance in the playoffs or even make the playoffs if this continues. Disappointing cuz this is a very talented team that has high expectations but they're unfortunately lacking in the most important position.

*edit* My point still stands, but they aren't done yet! 4-3 now, gotta quit falling behind 3-0 so often though lol, they did this last week at home too and fell just short.

Caps game was 4-2 with three seconds left. Ended 5-3.

We're on a three game winning streak (All regulation wins, first time since March of 2013 that happened) and playing more like I expected we would at the beginning of the season. Despite some awful defending on the part of Hillen and Orpik, we look like an actual team who's strengths don't just lie on the offensive side of the game. Things are looking good.

Hope to stomp Columbus on Thursday.

d---, the Wild are outshooting the Islanders 25-4 since the 1st period and now lead 5-4. They certainly never give up, this team's so much fun to watch. Nino and Vanek doing great tonight.

Still need a better goalie situation though, hope they can hang on these last 4 minutes.

Oilers 3 wins in their last 22 games. Fired their coach today.

Season is already lost lmao, hope this doesn't mess with our chances at McDavid or Eichel.
