One game doesn't warrant the praise he gets

When he was healthy he was a good volume passer and playmaker with a turnover problem and gets way more praise than he's earned based on the team he's played for and the 'potential' he supposedly has

This past offseason. Texans traded him to the browns, who then cut him. Broncos are paying him the veteran minimum.

Also Osweiler was originally drafted and played for the Broncos when Peyton got hurt during their super bowl season two years ago

Luck is a d--- good QB and it's a shame that we'll probably never get to see what he could have been due to injuries and the Colts organization saying "f--- you, you're on your own"

before bridgewater got hurt, i wasn't too high on him. right before the start of last season, it did seem like he was trending in the right direction, and who knows, he might have had a break out year in 2016, but we will never know because he got hurt.

many vikings fans are super excited about him coming back. but he's missed so much time, that i believe its gonna be difficult for him to just go back in there and play well. teddy had only played 2 seasons when he went down and when you're the QB, there's obviously a big learning process and he was still going thru that when he got hurt. i don't know, i just feel like bridgewater is starting all over again

I mean... he played the best football in his career in 2016. He was graded as a top 5 QB on PFF too. I don’t see how you could knock Luck at all. He’s been forced to carry a sub-par team for his entire career so far.

    In other news:

    f--- Goodell.

I just think it's ridiculous to call him one of the best players of the past two generations

Bowman to the raiders. Man Raiders got Crabtree, Bowman, and Aldon Smith. Hate rebuilding but I trust Lynch and Shanahan will have the Niners back as contenders in 2 years.

Niners are 0-6 but they've at least been competitive unlike the last two years with Jim Tomsula and Chip Kelly. Five losses in a row by 3 pts or less. An NFL record. Rueben Foster, still needs more playing time to see but looked great week one before the injury. Buckner and Thomas look like future all-pros on the D-line. I can't wait to see what Kyle Shanahan can do with this team after another draft or 2 with his guys. Either Cousins next year or draft a QB and spend the cap on pass rushers and offensive line. Either way, I'm looking forward to the future with this regime.

Zeke is just selfish at this point. He's going to be suspended no matter what at some point, and is now just creating a distraction

It’s more than just football, it’s about his reputation. The league is accusing him of domestic violence. That hurts his image/brand/marketability. I still have no idea why you’re supporting the league in all this.

My actual thoughts on this are that he deserves a game or two suspension at the max. He's made too many questionable decisions and in many other professional scenarios he'd be out of a job. I think a sitting out a game would hopefully be enough for him to get his life together. Other than the domestic violence allegations, he hasn't really done anything outrageous that other 20-something year olds tend to do also, but it doesn't make them right. Dude needs to sit down and realize he needs to stop putting himself in these stupid scenarios.

At this point, though, with the CBA in place, there really isn't much to argue. They signed a stupid deal that allowed Goodell complete desecration. He just needs to get it over with.

Of course I'm on the league's side. Strictly because I'm an Eagles fan lol

But like.... the NFL’s investigation only had to do with the domestic violence allegations — nothing else. If this was something petty like marijuana use, i’d agree. Just sit 2 games, whatever. But you’re crazy if you think any player is just going to allow the league to accuse them of something as serious as domestic violence & not fight it. Especially in Zeke’s case where the allegations were *clearly* false.
