question about playoff fine print:

if two teams that would otherwise be matched up in the wildcard round per their records come from the same division, do they play each other? i.e.- is it possible that the vikings and packers play one another again next weekend?

in baseball, under the original wild card format, that wasn't allowed to happen; since they added the automatic play-in game, it is.

I'm glad cox isn't up yet or is it? cause he would be gone imo. Eagles are tight with money I think since they are paying so much for mediocre players. I agree hopefully curry and Thurmond. Carroll shouldn't it too much to keep. I feel after next year there will be a lot of decisions to make but for now they are kind of stuck with maxwell and Murrays contract although I'm okay with keeping Murray

Cowboys/Eagles in 2009 as well. Week 17 they played against eachother and it was for the division title. It wasn't a "win or go home game" cuz both teams had already clinched a playoff spot and knew they would play eachother the following week in the wild card. It was really just a game of who would have home field advantage in the wildcard game.

Cox has a year left on his rookie deal. With the new HC next year, they won't be stubborn and run Murray the way he should be ran. Hopefully Maxwell comes around eventually.

Even though this was a disasterous season for the Cowboys, I'm not all that mad. We'll get a healthy Romo/Dez/Scandrick next season. We have a top 5 draft pick and Lee didn't play today which saves the Cowboys 2 million in cap space. Also we get a last place schedule next season which should help us out.
