Tom Brady is so good, even his lone interception went for 6.

Crazy that Gronk tied Shannon Sharpe for TD receptions by a TE last night, he's only 26 years old lol...

yeah, gronk is really good, but sharpe played in an era of football that was a lot less pass happy

So what are you saying, you think Sharpe was better then Gronk is? Gronk has played in 72 games compared to Sharpe's 203, that's like 8 more seasons. So while it's true that the league is more pass happy, Sharpe still played most of his career with John Elway.

I was a big fan of Sharpe, he was probably the only non-Pats jersey I've owned(my aunt lived in Colorado and got me a jersey). He's not in the same universe as current Gronk though.

I liked him until he made a fool of himself during the deflate gate thing, unforgivable.

Any actual take on that post or nah?

Sharpe played in the 90's, the NFL was already turning into a passing league by then, it wasn't all that different. It's not like he played in the 70's or something.

@redsoxx if you think gronk is better, that's fine. you're a pats fan so it's not like i'm surprised lol. same thing with the rodgers/brady debate.

all i was saying is.....you were quick to point how gronk has already tied sharpe in receiving TDs.....but you oh so conveniently forgot to mention that they played in different eras

@Enigma i'm not saying the 90's and football today is like the difference between night and day. however, it was clearly a different era and in the 90's the running back was featured a lot more

and dude, if you really are 18, like your profile says, then you were only like 2 or 3 years old in the LATE 90's lol

So what you're saying is you don't think Gronk is better?(stop dodging this question) I mean experts who hate the Pats have been saying it all week.

And all I said was Gronk tied his record at 26 and that it was impressive, I don't need to mention the time in which Sharpe played in.

Why are you dismissing the fact that Gronk has tied his record in practically a third of the games played? I mean I'll give you a little leeway with the league not being as pass heavy back then, but let's not get crazy.

You gotta get over the black/white thing and just open your eyes.

We have this thing called the Internet Timmy, where I can watch pretty much watch anything I'm looking for. So while you're right (I was born in 96') that's irrelevant. Not to mention, QB statistics are easily available. Farve was slinging around the ball in the 90's just like you see QB's do today.

Big Ben is probable and highly likely to play tomorrow vs. the Bengals

That should make that game a lot more interesting

Can't believe the Lions have/had 5 nationally televised games and they're going to lose them all. Complete laughing stock of the NFL.

So my work told me about 3 weeks ago that I'd switch to my new position and new schedule within a week or 2, maybe sooner but it still hasn't happened so I'm stuck missing another sunday of football games, god d---...Starting to get pretty annoyed with it, really hope this is the last week. But either way I'll be at the Vikes/Raiders game in 2 weeks so that'll be awesome. :emoji_thumbsup:

Division games on the road are never easy but if the Vikings want to be a playoff team, there's no reason they should lose today. Hope they show up and get it done.

Packers/Broncos tonight will be awesome too, also kinda curious about seahawks/cowboys since both teams really need a win. Bengals/Steelers will be interesting too, I kinda expect Pittsburgh to win it.

I hate bye weeks. Luckily I was at the Notre Dane vs Temple game last night that was awesome so I got more than my fair share of football this week

Lot of undefeated seasons coming to an end in these next 2 weeks. I think the Bengals will lose today, obviously either the Packers/Broncos will lose and then next week the Packers play the Panthers.

do you think the Patriots will go 17-0? there schedule is extremely soft, the only good team they have to play is the Broncos.

I think 16-0 is possible, the way Brady is plying right now. I also think the Giants will give them a game, not because they are good but because they always seem too.

On the road against the Jets and Denver could easily be losses.

I might revise my opinion on the Denver game after seeing how the defense deals with Rodgers. Because Manning stinks at this point and will only get worse the colder it gets.
