You're claiming he deserves a shot because he played well vs some 3rd stringers/4th stringers who likely aren't on an NFL roster anymore either.

Cowboys are still taking the division. Our offense hasn't been winning these games, our defense has. Defense will only improve after week four when Hardy, Gregory and McClain get back. Weeden will be decent enough to score about 17 points, while we will hold teams to below that. Besides Patriots (and possibly Seattle, depending on what version of the team shows up) , our next nine weeks aren't even that bad. I'm certainly not worried about playing any division rivals, nor am I worried about the Bucs or Saints. Falcons should be tough, but we can handle them. We'll be taking the East.

Ehh that's wishful thinking m8. Saints currently aren't playing well but they can turn it on whenever & drop 40 points. Atlanta is looking good so far & is going to be very tough next week, Patriots are being the typical patriots. It's very possible that we lose our next 3 games lol

We will definitely beat the Saints. Not even worried about that. Falcons, yes they will be tough, but I'm confident we have a chance. As for the Patriots, I essentially have accepted defeat on that one, but hey, 1-2 losses over the course of the next 8 weeks with Weeden and no Dez would be quite amazing, and isn't even entirely impossible.

I hope you're right but I can really see our offense being stagnant without Romo. Teams are likely going to stack the box & dare us to throw it with Weeden. It's a lot of pressure on our D to keep us in games too because we're not going to be scoring a lot of points.
