Shoulda posted this earlier but the Raiders released James Jones

He had a touchdown catch against the Chiefs on Thursday night football (aka our first win) that I'll never forget.

It'll be interesting to see what happens w/ the rest of his career. Not a bad receiver, but he's useless after the catch.

That was mostly Greg Olson's fault he would ALWAYS have Carr throwing short passes and hardly ever let him open up down the field. I can't count how many 3rd and 7's there were this past season that went for 4-5 yards.

Carr is actually a decent qb. Adding cooper will help them. Where you expecting them to take cooper?

I shoulda expected it more than I did. I wanted Leonard Williams because he played at USC and I watched him every game. He will be special. I agree with taking Cooper though. Carr has a legitimate #1 receiver now. I think Carr has Pro Bowl potential. He made a lot of impressive throws last year. With Cooper, Streater, and Holmes, he will have better weapons than ever. Fingers crossed that we aren't killed by injuries this year.

think of it this way.

the steelers starting RB, bell, got suspended for 3 games for driving on pot.

so what will they do for someone (brady) who possibly affected the integrity of the game.......which is obviously a much more serious matter

so keeping that in mind.........the possibility that brady could get suspended isn't too far-fetched

Cowboys met with that O Linemen La'el Collins. Was supposed to be a first round player but then he got caught up in a murder investigation as a "person of interest". Most of the league is interested in him but I like the fact that he met with the Cowboys first and their was significant progress in their discussions. Cowboys trying to get that line even better.

Wonder how long till they announce suspensions, you would think they would have done it at the same time they released this info.

Hopefully it doesn't drag out too much longer.

They could have easily come down with the discipline with the Wells Report but Goodell probably wanted to gauge everyones reaction so he didnt catch a ton of flack. Although he will probably get roasted no matter what they decide to do.

Brady is gonna come out next season with a battery in his back like he did in the Superbowl.

Cowboys O Line gonna be dominant for the next 10 years tbh. We got three 1st round talent players (Byron Jones, Randy Gregory, & La'el Collins) while only having one 1st round draft pick lol. I haven't been this impressed and happy with a Cowboys offseason in idk how long lol.

Also, Giants got f----- again lol they were seriously looking into Collins with them not being able to draft Scherff (thanks to the Redskins) and having to settle for Flowers which everyone agrees was a reach.
