@Detroit24 you think there’s anything to this? As a Texan, I think a team in Austin would be a waste. Pretty much everyone outside of Houston is a cowboys fan and even about 50% of Houston is cowboys fans.

wow thanks for that report. I hope not...that would be devastating for Buffalo....truly a football town that loves their bills even when they s---....it’s rammed...you also have a bunch of Canadians from Toronto and surrounding areas that go to bills games every home game

I thought they would goto Toronto when Jon Bon Jovi and his investors wanted to buy the bills...which would still get Americans from Buffalo to take the 1hr drive to Toronto but f---...,Austin?! Hope not...

ya it’s definitely a cowboy state outside of Houston like you said...

austin is longhorn country...university of Texas...they got no room for an NFL lol they are the capital of Texas but they love their longhorns

San Antonio was interesting...but ya I can see the biggest cities in the state wanting full control over the state popularity...Dallas/Houston won’t let this happen...

    Houston having 2.5million ppl
Dallas/San Antonio bought have 1.5 million
    Austin got 900k

If you guys get 3 first rounders with Watson legal situation....that would amazing! Change the franchise in couple years with 3 solid 1st rounders

it’s such a s-----y situation...he is a super bowl caliber QB...but bad coaching? GM? Has pretty much made this a rebuilt team that would love draft picks and tank this year...I mean your offense will probably still put up points with Watson, cooks, a.Miller, Ingram...not familiar with your d...but Watson will get his

Yeah I'd hate to see Buffalo lose the Bills. Toronto would make sense, like you said.

Austin isn't even in my top 10 when considering relocation cities for any team. San Antonio would be a smaller market but they would love the f--- out of that team. The Spurs have one of the best fanbases in the NBA. Houston wouldn't give a s--- about another Texas team but Jerry would do some shady s--- for sure.

I keep reading that settlements are near, but who knows. I think most teams are waiting for the legal situation to end. I think once that happens 3 picks is realistic

I blame ownership for everything. They allowed O'Brien to run wild and ruin this franchise for the next 10 years. We traded away some of our best players for a bowl of soup. Tunsil got that expensive a--- deal without an agent. Watson asked Cal McNair to include him in the decision making for new GM and HC. They did neither. Watson found out about the GM hire through social media. Ownership also ignored the recommendations by an outside firm for who the new GM should be. Then they didn't even Eric Bienemy like Watson wanted them to. But they interviewed MARVIN f---ing LEWIS!!! As much as I hate to see him go, I completely understand.

Watson will not play this year. Goodell has yet to step in and we all know how he does things. Even before his legal issues, Watson stated he pretty much had no intention of playing for us ever again. We have Tyrod but he isn't taking you far. Both sides of the ball will be awful this year and we will be picking first in next year's draft.

I was born after the Oilers left Screwston, but man I wish I was alive to watch them (and go inside the Astrodome). Houston still and always will love the Oilers. I see Oilers s--- around town like the team is still in town. I wish the Texans were allowed to use the Oilers colors. f--- Tennessee and f--- the Adams family.

interesting. Thanks for that info. Always more insight when listening to a true fan of the team as oppose to summaries on national news outlets like espn.

f---, sounds like a s-----y situation. What would you do if you were owner/gm?

start over? Make the trade for draft picks? I think it’s time for a total rebuild...collect draft picks and tank

obrien was a disaster...can’t believe they gave him soooo much control...

100% Jerry Jones wouldn’t allow that...surprised he allowed Houston to get a team again...McNairs obv have big $ and connections...wasn’t George bush a part owner at the time? Feel president connection can make anything happen

I’d do a total rebuild. Move Tunsil to unload that massive contract. Collect draft picks and tank like you said.

Jerry Jones actually had to give the Texans permission to use the name because decades ago the Cowboys were the Dallas Texans

How I feel about the Josh Allen extension is the exact same way I felt about the Jared Goff extension: probably a good decision but I would have waited an extra year. Allen has only played above average football for one season. No pun intended but he’s still kind of an enigma.

agree, I would have waited half way through the season...but from the bills perspective they believe in him and they don’t want a soap opera during the season and are all in now....hope he continues to improve....

It would be nice to see during the year his stats were mvp level once again and then give him the extension...but that would be drama too
