its not a sure thing--but jaguars and jets are likely taking a QB--which means the 9ers must really like one of these QBs to move up from 12 to 3. that's a big jump. i really doubt they're moving up that many spots to take a WR or TE lol

Stafford is better than Goff—how much better is another question. Both are probably mid tier QBs & I’d argue Stafford is on the border of mid tier/top 10 QB which is what makes this trade kind of difficult to assess. Stafford to me has always been the benchmark franchise QB. If your QB isn’t at least as good as Matthew Stafford, you should be looking for an upgrade.

That being said, the Rams did probably overpay for him but they are very obviously in win-now mode. Aaron Donald is gonna be 30, Jalen Ramsey in the prime of his career, Cooper Kupp & Robert Woods both entering their prime playing years—the time to make a run is now. Whether or not this trade pays off will be dictated by if they can win Super Bowl.

this trade makes perfect sense for both teams IMO

stafford can play but the team around him isn't that good. he was just wasting away in Detroit. it made sense for the Lions to ship him off and get some draft capital in return and then start from scratch

the rams are obviously in win now mode. getting stafford is an upgrade over goff. how much of an upgrade? i don't know. but he's definitely better than jared goff and it'll give them a better chance to win for sure

So crazy. I remember his first year starting like it was yesterday. Never would've thought then that he'd attend 10 Super Bowls and win at least 6 of them. Just unreal.

if washington wins on sunday....they're back in the playoffs. i'm excited for you guys because washington has obviously struggled for a long time now. i think you guys get it done on sunday. eagles offensive line is banged up and we all know how vicious washington front 4 is. if alex smith starts, i'm very confident you'll win

Washington football team released dwayne haskins already.

obviously he was struggling, but they just took this guy in the first round in 2019. that's a quick release for a 1st round pick

diggs is really having a fantastic year. he's in his prime years right now, so i'm not too surprised. the only thing that could have held back diggs was josh allen. allen has obviously had a breakout year, so diggs production hasn't been hindered by QB woes

i'm not really upset/mad with diggs for wanting to be traded. he probably could have handled it a bit better. but diggs hasn't had any off the field issues and to me he's a likeable athlete. i'm glad he's doing so great in buffalo. all i ask is that he refund my 100 some bucks i spent on his jersey a few years ago

sources say cowboys defensive end everson griffin is headed from the cowboys to the lions. i guess griffin didn't work out in the cowboys system because he's obviously been a very productive player in the league. we'll see if he can do anything in detroit
