    Kendall Gill said he saw Rose workout a month ago and he "looked like Secretariat at the Belmont". Also said Brandon Jennings said he looks like the MVP.

    Only thing Thibs would do wrong is play Kirk so much, f---. Every Bulls game I'd ever see would have him bricking threes the entire game.

    True, but he was good before that eye injury last year, and was really good after the new year.

    I'm kinda happy for him, but super sad at the same time. This has been a roller coaster ride relationship to say the least.

    Want to switch my avy to him in a Knicks uni but I keep remembering the game that mine is from and watching videos. This gonna take me a long time to get over.

    Yea i just think if he was looking that good the Bulls would know about it and would be looking for more then a bag of balls in return.

    Bulls fan, but he's my up there with Kobe as my favorite player of all time. Probably moreso because he's obviously from here and played for the Bulls.

    We gonnbe alright. Might be best for Derrick, I still think he plays well. He could obviously get hurt but he's been through 2 seasons now, Rose/Melo/Porzingis can be a sneaky good core. Definitely will be in the playoffs

    On the Bulls front I'm praying we don't ship Butler out for anything less than both Boston's 1s and players, or Wiggins.

    jimmybutler My point guard, my brother: you taught me so much since I came into this league as a 21 year old kid from Marquette. For me, coming to Chicago to play and learn from you, an MVP, was eye-opening. You helped shape me into the player I am today. Helped teach me the work ethic needed to excel in this league. You are a leader, thru and thru. Always a supportive teammate and friend. I'll always be thankful for the opportunity I had to play alongside you each night and I know you're going to continue to be the great player and leader you were in Chicago for years to come.

    Never understood why local & national media tried to make it seem like these 2 had beef. Derrick & Jimmy have known each other for a long time. Butler played with Rose's best friend in in junior college before Marquette. They looked like a top 5 backcourt under Thibs, would've been great to see them continue to gel under him, but it is what it is.
