Duncan is the greatest power forward to ever do it by far but his impact on a team isnt anywhere near lebrons

but for MJ people say, "thats real, thats the fire of a real competitor." Lmao. The double standards are ridiculous. Lebron would be called a diva that doesnt know how to be a good teammate.

I don't hate Lebron as much since he went back to Cleveland. But between the 5 times the Celtics played him in the playoffs and "The decision", I'm not his biggest fan.

Will never down play him as an all time great though and one of the best ever. But f--- that guy.

ppl like this "real man" image that kobe and MJ had. They act like those two never whined, complained, or did anything to lower their "real man" image. Meanwhile its lebron thats married to his highschool sweetheart and paying college tuition for 1100 kids. Sure he flops here and there, sure he complains about calls. But this dude is flawless on and off the court. I like how hes been callin ppl out lately. Put some respeck on his name

As of today Kobe has the stronger resume, you can say LeBron eventually will have a better one, but until then he's behind Kobe. A lot can happen from now until Bron's retirement.

@Big Mitch I don't think he's obsessed with them on like Russ' level, but he has a deep understanding of the advanced ones. I've seen him come back into a blowout in the 4th to get a triple double this year, Kobe on the other hand takes a seat in the 4th after dropping 60 through 3. For me Bron won't pass up MJ Magic or Kobe unless he gets 5 rings. I think he knows that too, which is why he seemed to have a mini mid life crisis a few weeks back blasting his front office to find a playmaker after hosing ATL for Korver lol.

Also really don't have an issue with someone going with Duncan over Kobe, I just think Kobe is more talented and brought more to the court. He was at his peak for much longer than Tim was as well.

That unselfishness of taking a pay cut is an advantage I'd give to Duncan tbh. Duncan never requested a trade, never drove any other superstars out of town, (he also never played with any) and overall just never had the extreme drama that came with being Kobe. I know some of that isn't even Kobe's fault, being in LA and the closest thing to we've seen to Jordan. Maybe Kobe was on Shaq's level for the second 2 of that. 3 peat, but that still doesn't ignore the fact that Shaq carried a massive load of the team those years. Duncan's 03 finals run on
Bird is a bit before my time, but I'm sure most people today would still pick Bron over him. That's not taking anything away from Bird. I can only watch as much video and do as much research available to me, but give me LeBron over everyone we've been mentioning outside Jordan. He very well might pass Jordan too.
Also, LeBron is not obsessed with stats. He's out there to win. You got him confused with Wilt or something.

Anyways @M Solo , starting to think you're right about Russell being a bust. Not just cuz his play is still very inconsistent but I saw this interview they did with him on Lakers.com where he took questions from fans.

Holy s--- I just couldn't believe how apathetic he was throughout most of it, so many questions he just didn't really care about or came off so casual. Then they asked him his top 5 retired players all time and after saying something earlier about how he doesn't care much about stuff that happened before he was around, he jokingly listed off 5 Lakers including and I kid you not.... 'Steve Nash when he was with the Lakers.'

There were more examples but he just came across so laid back and 'I don't give a f---' like, it was embarrassing honestly. Magic Johnson's working with him now, hopefully he can light a fire under his a--- but yeah I'm not too optimistic.

What do you think I was responding to?

Larry Bird's passes were straight ridiculous. Insinuating he's the only player that can do that is moronic. Players were making ridiculous passes 30 years ago.

I'm not trying to be a d-ck but what have you seen from watching him play that you can confidently say that? I don't know the exact numbers but I'm positive Kobe and MJ took wayyyy more 3s than Lebron has or will on a per game/season basis.

Bron is unique for his combo of speed/size but there's nothing he does physically that MJ couldn't. He's definitely a better athlete than Kobe but Kobe offsets that with skill/finesse that Bron doesn't have.

The man is the best player of our generation and a lock for the top 10 of all time, but you can miss me with the better than Jordan talk. Nothing wrong about not being better than His Airness.

Our coaches are really pathetic. We're obviously a rebuilding team yet they're not playing the youngsters or giving them much continuity at all it's frustrating.

I really do hope we trade Mario and let him flourish somewhere else coz we certainly aren't giving him any opportunity at all. :emoji_slight_frown:
I was trying to cushion the fall. I know Ross is s---. :emoji_slight_frown:

No, work ethic's the right word... Look into it if you want, Kobe has arguably the GOAT work ethic and anyone who's ever worked with him backs that up, so many stories out there and no one who's worked with him questions this..

Like I just said even Phil said his was better than MJs.

I'm not just assuming he had a great work ethic cuz that face he made on the court when he got angry, if thats what you're implying.

Surprised you guys haven't heard about his work ethic, thought it was fairly well known by now.
