I mean they can pick up the phone and ask but I don't see how this gets done? No way Bulls flip JB for K Love. Cavs basically have to pray another team is in love with Love and decides to give a bunch of assets to Chicago in return. Not happening but A for effort I guess.

Man what a guy PG is, I don't think he's chasing a ring (although he could end up up at the Cavs, not by his doing), he just wants to play for the team he grew up supporting. And being public and open about the move allows the chance for Indiana to at least get something in return by trading him.

Cavs and Pacers are already on the phone... I badly want it to happen.

Could also see the Pacers doing this just to make it seem like the Cavs are a threat in order to get Magic Johnson to trade bigger assets.

Lakers shouldn't trade anything big for PG. if the Pacers want to unload him and realize his value is low maybe offer a 'take it or leave it' type offer centered around the 28th pick+Clarkson.

Why not just draft Fultz, see what the Lakers do, THEN trade Fultz for the 3rd pick, so it ensures you get Jackson OR Fultz... Instead of, you know, the exact opposite where we get neither...

Well the gap between KAT and Okafor was not thought to be that significant at the time. You look back at it now and its an astronomical gap, but Okafor was at the top of most mock's throughout the year and even after Duke won it all some still had him as #1. On the other end of the spectrum 2016 was supposed to be Simmons >>>> Ingram > everyone else. Simmons was the consensus #1 all year, but now I would say Jaylen has moved ahead of Ingram and I guess we'll see how significant the gap is when Simmons gets on the floor and we get to see if he can s---t.

Pre-Season 2017 Mock's were a mixed bag, I would say most had Fultz but a lot had JJ. But once the season started it pretty much turned consensus for Fultz. I still have Fultz quite a bit above JJ, especially when you look at the age gap between the two.

To the whole Horford thing, I think the biggest thing to the franchise/fans is the fact we actually got a free agent to sign here lol. Plus, I look at these years (IT, Horford, Crowder, Bradley) as bridge years to the real deal.

I think in 3 years, with the decline of LeBron, and the possible separation of the Warriors (through free agency), and the amount of talent the Celtics have that's young, they'll end up contending in the finals for years.

Granted, I think the 76ers will be around too, but I truly believe that Danny has set us up to have a very bright future, plus I think Stevens has already shown he has an amazing ability to maximize everyone's talents and have them gel really well. It's pretty f---ing crazy what he's done the last 3 years.

As far as why the 1 seed matters, I think it's just a matter of progression for Boston fans. As long as we get better each year, even in the bridge years, it shows promise (especially in a market that is spoiled as f---).

What was the other option? We went from being the 4 seed to the 1 with him. The Celtics have the luxury to compete now while rebuilding at the same time. The Celtics are now a destination for legit Free agents to pick because Horford came here and the cap is going up.

Would I like him to score and rebound more? Sure. But his defense and elite passing ability (for a big) has been huge for this team.

Should probably consider all the guys on rookie deals they have that will fill out the roster.

Thank god. At least the Bulls have a shot against the C's instead of getting run over by Cleveland in Rd 1. Also sets up another LBJ vs PG series which should be fun.
