    I've been watching the rockets since they hired McHale as their coach and this is easily the best team they've had in that time span. The loss of Pat Bev was hard but CP3 for Bev was a no-brainer.

    Lou Williams is someone I didn't mind losing. He played well against OKC but not so much against SAS.

    Sam Dekker, Montrezl Harrell, Darrun Hilliard, DeAndre Liggins, Kyle Wiltjer. These aren't players that played a lot so I don't really care about them.

    The addition of CP3, Luc and PJ make up for losing all those player. Defensive now we can switch everything and offensively we can still make a ton of 3s while adding playmaker depth.

    I think last years series vs the Spurs was an eye-opener.

    Offensively this team had more than enough firepower. But the Spurs were able to focus in on Harden due to the team only having one playmaker. The addition of CP3 negates how effective Kawhi will be on defense as an individual and clearly makes them the better team now imo.

    Yeah you could be right. More often than not though Harden will be in for 35+ min. CP3 is a HOF so he should be able to make the adjustments in his game to fit better next to James.

    We'll see. I'm not judging the fit off of last night since CP3 has been injured since the preseason.

    I think having an elite ball handler in the game at all times is going to benefit the rockets more than having another elite scoring option.

    Sounds like Nikola Mirotic was the aggressor against Portis... gonna be interesting to see what they do considering Mirotic has a no-trade clause in this first year of his contract...

    Also, to get back to the Kyrie talk... Did he not look great last night? 10 assists to go along with 22 points. Looks like he's gonna thrive in Boston's offense. I really liked the off-ball action he was seeing last night.

    Yeah it's getting tougher for me to care about the nba as a whole basically cuz of this. There's no mystery in the nba, we all know what's gonna happen come June.

    Still enjoy watching my Lakers tho, and some of the other good young teams who should keep improving like the twolves.
