Yeah can't really go wrong picking them, their home court is just as good if not better than GS so I definitely wouldn't be surprised to see them in the finals again.

Their whole team changed when they made that move. I always kinda hated on Spo because of our rivalry but he's one of the best.

Sick of hearing people in the media defending Byron Scott and act like there's no reason he should have been fired, 'he was in a horrible situation and had an awful team' is what I keep hearing, lol what a bunch of bs. You can say it was a horrible situation with the farewell tour sure, but he still had 1 and a half seasons before Kobe announced his retirement, so let's not act like that's the reason, he was awful before that too. He had the lowest expectations ever given to a Lakers head coach and still managed to fail at meeting those and set franchise records back to back seasons for most losses.

Also the whole 'no talent on the Lakers' thing is exaggerated too, honestly the trail blazers got the 5th seed in the west and they aren't much more talented (if at all) than the Lakers. That's the difference between a good coach and an awful coach. Honestly most Lakers fans would have been perfectly fine with the Lakers sucking this year and the young guys getting a ton of chances and developing, but Byron even failed with that. He did his best to bring his players down all year by bashing them through the media and having very inconsistent rotations and minutes. His offensive and defensive schemes (if you can even call them that) are a complete joke and his 'adjustments' usually consist of him standing on the sidelines with his arms crossed and a serious look on his face.

He's the worst f---in coach I've ever seen, pretty sure anyone defending him hasn't followed the Lakers during his time there.

Got everything booked for LA to see Kobe's last game, definitely gonna be an experience but d--- I don't know when/if I'm gonna be able to sleep lol, here's my schedule will look like those couple days.

Tuesday: Work 3 pm to 130 am Wednesday
-leave for airport by 5 am, doubt I'll take a nap in between this time since I'll be too excited and worried bout missing my alarm since it'd only be a few hours.
-Land in LA around 930, probably k--- time at the airport/grab food since it'll be too early to check in at the hotel, had to take this flight since it was the only direct one.
-Check in at hotel hopefully around 1(check in's officially 3, but I'm hoping i can check in early and finally get a few hours sleep, but if it's too late I won't risk it and take a chance of oversleeping.)
-Walk to the game around 5 PM or so, might as well get there early and take it all in. Game is at 730.
-Back to hotel around 1030 or 11 PM, finally get some sleep if I haven't this whole time.
-Wake up around 430 am, take cab to LAX, fly back to Portland, gotta be at work at 3 PM this day.

f--- this is gonna be rough and I don't wanna feel like a zombie when I'm at the game so I really hope I can either get a few hours sleep at some point before the game, or else I'll just drink a s--- load of caffeine or something so I keep my energy up lol. Gonna be a tough stretch but should be worth it to see Kobe's last game. I basically might have 2 days where I get like 5-6 hours sleep total, but at least that next day I'm at work (Thursday) is my last work day before I get 3 days off, so I'll survive.

Going to the Warriors/Blazers game tonight, Portland's been playing well and it wouldn't surprise me if the Warriors are a little rusty to start since it's the first game after the all star break so I think it may be close for a half or so, maybe even longer. Should be a fun game, hope the Warriors win just cuz I enjoy watching them make history and going after the record.

Lillard seems to always play well whenever I go to a game, hoping Klay and Curry put on a show too.

Jimmy's full highlights from last night. Dropped a career high 53, tying Curry's high for the season.

He's at least 3rd in the MVP race behind Curry & Kawhi IMO. An argument could be made that he's 1st since the Bulls aren't as talented as the Warriors or Spurs. Either way I'm really happy to see Jimmy elevate his game once again, and really gives us a chance to contend if the rest of the team can stay healthy.
